The Coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) pandemic seriously threatened the health and well-being of population. This study aims to investigate relevance COVID-19 on stress, mental distress, older people in Spain. design was quantitative repeated cross-sectional. sample non-probability consisted 1436 persons from general population divided into two groups: (1) group, composed 718 women (61.3%) men aged 60 89; (2) comparison same number 30 45. All were assessed three phases pandemic: first year, last post-pandemic period. results showed that during year pandemic, prevalence distress higher (50%) than (37.2%), while rates group 57.2% for 53.2% men. In period, 30.2% 29.8% 48.5% 26.5% No significant differences found between groups or different pandemic. most common stressors reported by illness death family and/or loved ones, followed personal illness. more stressful events lower stress resilience predict Greater perceived vulnerability infection another important predictor women. Emerging adulthood is a critical period of life involving many transitions that may generate stress and compromise health mental well-being.To know the most frequent events women men in emerging adulthood, analyzing also relevance such stressors have on their psychological well-being satisfaction. A second aim to determine age, educational level, events, coping styles, perceived social support as risk protective factors for well-being.The sample consisted 2,000 individuals from general Spanish population (55% women), aged between 18 29, who were assessed using five questionnaires scales measuring satisfaction, well-being, support.The findings showed 90% had experienced one or more during previous year higher number over past was associated with lower well-being. Multiple regression analyses made clear that, although some (namely, family conflicts change relationship parents) women's men's important determinants either gender styles; however, predictors proved different those men. In case women, intimate partner predicted satisfaction conflicts. As men, work academic satisfaction.These research are relevant design programs strategies improve adulthood.

Despite the need for urgent actions in response to exacerbated inequalities mental health resulting from COVID-19 pandemic, there remains a significant gap research into relationships and underlying mechanisms between socioeconomic status (SES) various outcomes among students during university closure. With sample of 839 Lanzhou, capital city China’s Gansu Province, which was closed 2022 autumn semester due outbreak, this study examined SES both negative positive outcomes, with particular inquiry mediating roles perceived social support self-efficacy. The results show that had total associations psychological distress (β = −0.119, p < 0.001) loneliness −0.132, 0.001), while having life satisfaction 0.90, 0.01) affective well-being 0.108, 0.01). The difficult life situations (DLS) of modern learning youth are considered. young people who studying represent a special socio-age group that has specific trajectory development, called "emerging adulthood". Its specifics is the development tasks have different timing, obeying main goal – acquisition profession through long training. As result, this subject to high stress, psychologically unstable and needs support social psychological services. theoretical framework included ideas in emerging adulthood, research well-being event-situational approach. Two empirical studies were conducted with participating college, bachelor's, master's postgraduate students. study 1 involved 337 respondents, Mage = 20.9, SDage 3.0, 243 female. We used open-ended questions concerning difficulties experienced by students at university, followed structural tabular thematic analysis. checklist "Difficult students, DLS-stud" been compiled, including 49 difficulties. 751 respondents participated 2, 19.0, 4.3, 613 301 moved (23 changed their country), 416 same city where they born. data clustering method was organize selected Eight clusters identified: Adaptation technical conditions studying, new stage Lack physical resources, Organization classes an educational office, Social Current tasks, place Loss fear loss. most frequent rare analyzed, number configuration which vary depending on gender, level education, fact moving (more for girls, undergraduate those residence during studies). results obtained can make work university services more effective.

Abstract This study aimed to examine gender differences in distress and well-being two years after the onset of COVID-19 pandemic, analyzing risk protective factors for psychological subjective well-being. It is a repeated cross-sectional with sample 1,588 women (50%) men from general Spanish population aged 18-74 who were assessed online by seven questionnaires scales. Descriptive, variance, hierarchical multiple regression analyses performed. From February April 2022, 57.4% 38.7% had distress, percentages that totaled 50.5% 41.5%, respectively, October 2022 2023. Women also greater perceived vulnerability diseases, more negative feelings, lower affect balance, resilience, self-esteem than men. The most important predictors refer self-esteem, social support higher diseases. Other statistically significant included educational level neither being married nor living partner Lower best predicted well-being, resilience constituting predictors. This paper is part of a study on the impact tourism experiences psychological wellbeing individuals. Integrating approach positive psychology and research tourists’ behaviour within field marketing, Caroll Ryff's concept were used for this purpose. The aim was to investigate differences in level perceived by tourists preferring different types tourism, article presents theoretical practical premises defining tourism. Wellbeing can be defined as specific type based six pillars that ensure sustainable travel leisure - simultaneous care body, soul, mind tourist, well environment, society, economy destination area. Through analysis variance, it found these are significant those natural cultural they also influenced perception one's financial situation. Background The Coronavirus disease 2019 pandemic increased global psychological distress, emotional and sleep disturbances, all known risk factors for compromised oral health. Despite this, there is limited understanding of the impacts these on health in certain populations, including Iranians. Thus, present study investigates associations between sociodemographic characteristics, pattern changes, tooth brushing frequency, ulcer reports a sample Iranian adults during pandemic. Materials methods This cross-sectional, web-based collected data from July September 2022 using respondent-driven sampling. Mental Health Wellness questionnaire was used to gather information toothbrushing reports. Simple multiple logistic regression served statistical analysis. Results Among 240 participants, comprising 164 females 76 males, with mean age 35.3 years (±13.3), 28 individuals (11.7%) reported reduced 35 (14.6%) ulcers. Objetivo: comparar la violencia de pareja, sintomatología estrés, ansiedad y depresión en mujeres mexicanas por grupo edad durante pandemia COVID-19. Diseño metodológico: medio un muestreo no probabilístico tipo intencional, 165 completaron una batería psicológica online conformada los instrumentos: Cédula datos generales, DASS-21 Cuestionario sufrida ejercida pareja. Resultados: las 45 a 59 años reportaron padecer mayor comparación con otros rangos (K = 9.488, p .023), tanto, 25 44 presentan más síntomas (p < .05). El reportada fue física, siendo el rango que sufrió 10.985, .012). Limitaciones investigación: vista se contó evaluación previa COVID-19, es posible afirmar exacerbó pareja asociados al causa esta emergencia sanitaria.
