Abstract In human history, metals have had a significant yet ironic function. Their growing industrial usage has made contribution to technological advancement; on the other hand, their requirement for humans, particularly in situations where certain metal ions are lacking, just now come light. this review, we examined various analytical methods employed detection of lithium, spanning from conventional approaches contemporary technologies. Traditional encompass gravimetric analysis, titrimetry, flame testing, chromatography, and colorimetry. On modern techniques involve utilization sophisticated instruments such as X-ray diffraction, fluorescence, atomic absorption spectroscopy, inductively coupled plasma optical emission mass spectrometry, thermal ionization laser-induced breakdown ultraviolet/visible photoelectron sensor technology.
