The rapid advancements in artificial intelligence (AI) and automation are transforming post-harvest technologies, offering innovative solutions to improve food quality, safety, supply chain efficiency. This paper reviews the role of AI-driven innovations processing logistics, with a focus on automation, predictive analytics, quality control. Microplastics (MPs) and nanoplastics (NPs) have emerged as persistent environmental pollutants, posing significant ecological human health risks. Their widespread presence in aquatic, terrestrial, atmospheric ecosystems necessitates effective removal strategies. Traditional methods, including filtration, coagulation, sedimentation, demonstrated efficacy for larger MPs but struggle with nanoscale plastics. Advanced techniques, such adsorption, membrane photocatalysis, electrochemical shown promising results, yet challenges remain scalability, cost-effectiveness, impact. Emerging approaches, functionalized magnetic nanoparticles, AI-driven detection, laser-based remediation, present innovative solutions tackling MP NP contamination. This review provides a comprehensive analysis of current emerging strategies, evaluating their efficiency, limitations, future prospects. By identifying key research gaps, this study aims to guide advancements sustainable scalable microplastic technologies, essential mitigating implications.

The rise of 3D heterogeneous packaging holds promise for increased performance in applications such as AI by bringing compute and memory modules into close proximity. This comes with thermal management challenges. research explores the use sensing load throttling combined federated computation to manage localized internal heating a multi-3D chip package. overall concept is that individual chiplets may heat at different rates due operational geometric factors. Shifting computational loads from hot cooler can prevent local overheating while maintaining output. verified experiments low-cost test vehicle. vehicle mimics chiplet stack tightly stacked assembly SoC devices. These devices sense report temperature dynamically adjust frequency. configuration ESP32-S3 microcontrollers work on task, reporting host controller. tight packing processors causes temperatures rise, those rising more quickly than external ones. With real-time monitoring, when exceed threshold, system reduces processor frequency, i.e., throttles processor, save power shifts part workload other ESP32-S3s lower temperatures. approach maximizes efficiency safety without compromising power. Experimental results up six confirm validity concept.
