Currently, age-related diseases are a serious global health problem. In this study, selenium- and zinc-biofortified bean sprouts (ZSB) were cultivated, the intervention effect on cognitive dysfunction was explored in aging mice model established by combining AlCl3 d-galactose treatment. The results showed that compared with group, ZSB could decrease accumulation of Al increase Zn Se mice. levels serum superoxide dismutase, glutathione, glutathione peroxidase liver acetylcholine brain significantly increased (p < 0.05) after treatments biofortified sprouts. Additionally, treatment reduced level lipid peroxidation inhibited deposition Aβ1-40 activity acetylcholinesterase. It also abundance lactic acid bacteria cecum inhibit proliferation Escherichia coli, then content short-chain fatty acids increased. More importantly, hippocampal neuron damage reversed, correct rate spontaneous behavior alternations 35% Overall, can effectively slow down process through variety ways, which provide countermeasures for delaying aging.

Abstract Male infertility is a complex and multifactorial clinical condition affecting large population attributed to various factors, including perturbation in oxidative stress the level of essential trace elements. Oxidative insults exert multiple issues related reproductive health, male infertility, decreased sperm motility, DNA damage, an increased susceptibility genetic disorders. Besides chemical toxins food allergens junk items, many drugs can also lead fertility. Olanzapine, general antipsychotic drug, has been reported induce A great deal literature entails that zinc alleviate stress-related complications This study investigates potential protective effects sulphate on olanzapine-induced infertility. In present study, there were four treatment groups (n = 6) Group 1 as control (without any treatment); 2 treated with olanzapine (10 mg/kg) orally daily for six weeks; 3 4 50mg/kg 100 mg/kg respectively pre-exposed (10mg/kg) weeks. After completion treatment, biochemical analysis serum tissue samples demonstrated group had compromised levels antioxidant parameters (SOD, CAT GSH) well elevated (GSSG, MDA NO). However, ZnSO4 corrected all these dose-dependent way 4. Other health indicators, like taurine, enzyme Q10, phosphatidylcholine, ascorbic acid, vitamin E, observed improve supplementation ZnSO4. Intriguingly, fertility (sperm count testosterone) found significantly enhanced abnormalities both combination groups. The histological evaluation testis section agreed analysis. Therefore, strongly advocates Zn ameliorate significant extent.
