Methods: A retrospective analysis was conducted 195 patients who underwent cancer between January 2021 December 2024 at Clinical Hospital Nephrology “Carol Davila”. Variables analyzed included demographics, staging, approach, complications. Statistical methods chi-square tests multivariate logistic regression (significance threshold: p < 0.05). Results: The overall complication rate 21%, with leakage observed 8.2% cases. Significant for morbidity cardiovascular disease (p = 0.001), chronic respiratory failure 0.003), renal 0.002). Laparoscopic had lower (7.1%) than open (28%) 0.003). Mechanical anastomosis showed rates manual suturing 0.009). Left-sided resections were associated higher right-sided procedures 0.013). Conclusions: Optimizing outcomes requires personalized perioperative strategies. approaches mechanical significantly reduce Further multicenter studies are needed confirm these findings enhance guidelines.
