Prosthodontic treatments utilize various procedures and materials such as gold, silver, copper, palladium, cobalt, chromium, titanium to restore oral function; however, these are known induce allergic contact dermatitis (ACD). We present herein a case in which patient showed improvement ACD after undergoing prosthetic treatment using metal-free dental materials. A 53-year-old female with periungual inflammation was referred our department due instability her maxillary prosthesis, attributed severe peri-implantitis. Skin tests were conducted the suspicions of metal allergy, patch testing revealed positive reactions metals, specifically cobalt palladium. As result this finding, all patient's metal-based prostheses systematically replaced provisional crowns. During period, any teeth implants affected by periodontitis extracted, fitted zirconia-based prostheses, resulting significant reduction inflammation. In case, therefore, utilization facilitated ACD, providing valuable insights for practitioners managing patients ACD.
