Dyslipidemia is one of the most common disorders worldwide, which, if left untreated, results in a multitude complications. Thus proper diagnostics, which includes identifying secondary causes dyslipidemia crucial. Endocrine are an important cause dyslipidemia. This paper aims to review publications on lipoprotein alterations endocrine from past two years and provide overview recent discoveries this dynamically developing large field. Significant changes serum concentrations present endocrinological diseases can be modified with treatment. Some lipoproteins have also been proposed as markers some diseases, e.g., thyroid carcinoma. From scope disorders, largest number studies explored polycystic ovary syndrome women during menopausal peri-menopausal period. Even though association already well studied, new research has delivered exciting findings about euthyroid patients either positive antithyroid peroxidase antibodies or reduced sensitivity hormones. The problem adverse metabolic profile, including hypoprolactinemia recognized. Moreover, describes other significant encompassing adrenals, thyroid, parathyroid glands, pituitary, gonads. up-to-date knowledge influence hormonal prudent it significantly impact therapeutic decisions.

Chronic kidney disease (CKD) is associated with high cardiovascular (CVD) risk, and requires specific interventions to decreases CVD risk. The guidelines indicate that systematic global risk assessment recommended in individuals any major vascular factor. European Society Cardiology (ESC) guidelines, he Renal Association (ERA) Council the Spanish of Nephrology (S.E.N.) collaboration 15 Scientific Societies recommend assessing albuminuria all these populations. We have evaluated current clinical practice regarding factors (blood pressure, albuminuria, serum cholesterol, glycemia creatinine) different adult health user populations, analyzing results separately for men women, given recent evidence on gender differences recognition, monitoring, management CKD. Observational, retrospective, non-interventional single center study performed a hospital using Electronic Health Record (EHR) data. Primary hyperparathyroidism (PHPT) seems to be associated with different cardiovascular diseases (CVDs). We evaluated the association of PHPT major CV risk factors (CVRFs) and CVDs by using artificial intelligence (AI) tools. An observational retrospective study was conducted data from electronic health records (EHRs) Hospital Universitario Puerta de Hierro Majadahonda (Spain). Of a total 699,157 patients over 18 years age studied (54.7% females), 6515 (0.9%; 65.4% women; mean 67.6 ± 15.9 years) had diagnosis PHPT. The overall frequencies hypertension, dyslipidemia, diabetes mellitus, smoking habit in cohort PTHP were all significantly (p < 0.001) higher than those found without PTHP. frequency stroke, ischemic heart disease, atrial fibrillation, deep vein thrombosis, pulmonary embolism that A multivariate regression analysis showed independently evaluated. Our show there is significant between main CVRFs our hospital population.
