Data-driven supply chain orientation and supply chain performance: empirical investigation using a contingent resource-based view perspective DOI

Purpose Based on a contingent resource-based view, this paper explores whether and how data-driven supply chain orientation (DDSCO) affects performance (SCP). Design/methodology/approach Survey data were collected from 307 manufacturers in China, Confirmatory factor analysis confirmed the reliability validity of measures, bootstrapping was used to test all hypotheses. Findings DDSCO positively significantly influences SCP risk management capabilities (i.e. robustness resilience). Additionally, partially mediate relationship between SCP. Furthermore, findings provide evidence for moderating effect dynamism DDSCO–SCP relationship, with resilience capability functioning as mediators. Originality/value Building upon existing digital strategies literature, study provides new perspective (supply capabilities) maintaining sustainable under dynamism. These offer theoretical managerial contributions that add value literature.

Integrated technology management in building smart ports or intelligent is a crucial concern for global sustainable development, especially when human societies are facing increasing risks from climate change, sea-levels rising, and supply chain disruptions. By mapping the knowledge base of 103 papers on ports, retrieved late December 2022 Web Science, this study conducted roadmapping exercise using findings, assisted by Bibliometrix, VoSviewer, customized Python scripts. The three structural (intellectual, social, conceptual) aspects structure reveal significance internet things (IoT), fourth industrial revolution (Industry 4.0), digitalization chains, need digital transformation alignment across various stakeholders with Industry 4.0 practices. Furthermore, an even geographical distribution institutional representation was observed major continents. results analysis conceptual demonstrated existence several established emerging clusters research, namely (1) industry data, IoT, ICT, (2) 4.0, (3) airports, (4) automation; (5) protocol security. overall empirical findings revealed underlying innovation issues 5G, Big Data, AI integrated solutions. In relation to roadmapping, proposed socio-technical transition framework prototyping ecosystem innovations surrounding focusing contributing valuable carbon greenhouse gas emission data governance, management, services value chains.

Robotic process automation and intelligent have gained a foothold in the of business processes, using blocks software (bots). These agents interact with systems through interfaces, replacing human intervention aim improving efficiency, reducing costs mitigating risks by ensuring enforcing compliance measures. However, there are aspects incorporation this new reality within continuity lifecycle that still unclear, which need to be evaluated. This study provides multivocal literature review robotic correlated continuity, identify level awareness these two emerging forms management lifecycle. Based on reviewed literature, develops discussion main research areas for investigation, identifying what is attracting attention practitioners researchers they highlight as promising future research. Numerous sources from relevant backgrounds reveal an interest interrelated topics but yet little or no information available direct connection between them.
