Purpose The goal of this study was to evaluate possible associations between child- and mother-reported temperament, stuttering severity, child-reported impact in school-age children who stutter. Method Participants were 123 stutter (94 boys 29 girls) 9;0 14;10 (years;months) their mothers. Temperament assessed with the revised child parent version Early Adolescent Questionnaire-Revised (Ellis & Rothbart, 2001). Overall Assessment Speaker's Experience Stuttering (Yaruss Quesal, 2006) used impact. Results Child- temperament factors correlated moderately. No statistically significant found severity. Surgency (both mother-reported) Negative Affect (only child-reported) moderately Impact several subsections (i.e., Reactions, Daily Communication, and/or Quality Life) Stuttering. Conclusions More extraverted less fearful/shy experience a lower overall stuttering. Children higher levels irritability frustration Since children's ratings more sensitive these than mothers, supports inclusion questionnaires future research.

Abstract Introduction Cancer is known as a disease caused by an uncontrolled division of abnormal cells with the potential to proliferate and destroy body tissues. While it not uncommon observe changes in psychological states among patients cancer, pandemic situation has been reported have impact more severely. Objective This study attempts understand problems cancer patients, process coping adopted reproductive during period pandemic. Materials Methods uses correlation research design tools used for assessment were four-dimensional symptom questionnaire Brief COPE inventory. Through nonrandom sampling, sample 120 diagnosed both male female from regional center private hospitals Hyderabad, was recruited May 2020 September 2021. Descriptive statistics, correlation, regression statistical analysis methods implemented. Results Significant negative observed between coping. Using multiple linear analysis, found that distress depression predict problem-solving coping, anxiety emotion-solving predicts adaptive Conclusion examines factors adapting dual challenges illness risk infection transmission, emphasizes designing effective intervention. During coronavirus 2019 crisis, lack support through counseling address their mechanisms face also glaring.

El objetivo de este artículo consistió en determinar las evidencias psicométricas la escala afrontamiento padres hijos con discapacidad Lima. estudio fue un diseño no experimental, transversal y psicométrico. muestreo probabilístico a conveniencia los investigadores una muestra 246 tres centros educación básica especial, rango edades 20 57 años. desarrollo validación se desarrolló validez fundamentada el contenido través juicio expertos evaluación psicométrica dos estudios. Los resultados presentaron apropiadas empíricas por estructura interna, basado “el modelo unidimensional - Centrado problema 10 ítems (SB-X2/gl=1.79, CFI=.92, SRMR=.06, RMSEA=.06)” consistencia mediante omega compuesto ω=.79. En conclusión, para evidenció adecuadas propiedades psicométricas, confirmando dimensión centrado teoría Lazarus Folkman (1986).
