In March 2020, the world faced an abrupt global health crisis as pandemic rapidly spread, leading to widespread school closures. Our research explored students' online learning preferences during this crisis, considering a range of variables including age, gender, and personal characteristics. We used quantitative approach gather data through six questionnaires covering demographic details, personality traits, self-efficacy, attitude toward technology, parental support, preferences. Findings reveal that students who held more favorable towards perceived higher levels academic achievements were inclined favor platforms greater extent.

Online education has gained widespread adoption in recent years due to several factors, including the COVID-19 pandemic, which accelerated growth of online education, with universities transitioning platforms continue their activities. However, this transition also impacted preparation pre-service teachers, who receive training become licensed or certified teachers. This study investigates influence on academic experiences 130 teachers attending Postgraduate Diploma Program at Al Ain University UAE. It explores relationships between teachers’ demographics and five experiences. A quantitative questionnaire consisting newly-developed scales was used for data collection. Pre-service were found not impact effective teaching learning, skill development, satisfaction. Age employment status views faculty assessment feedback course organization management. management significantly correlated marital as engagement motivation was, but age status. Effective assessment, positively motivation, while learning development Research post-pandemic is limited. Background: E-learning was considered an appropriate alternative to face-to-face education during the COVID-19 pandemic. It ensured continuity of learning and protected students against risk virus transmission in university environment. Objectives: The present study investigates role e-learning skills academic success satisfaction medical Methods: statistical population included all at Ahvaz Jundishapur University Medical Sciences southwest Iran 2021. Ultimately, 260 people participated study. To collect data, two researcher-made questionnaires were used: One for assessing another measuring students' satisfaction. Additionally, GPA from their previous three semesters used measure level success. Results: results revealed that (mean ± SD = 3.79 0.68), 3.88 0.65), student's 15.8 1.62) above average. Also, a positive significant correlation found between Conclusions: According results, there relative with compared traditional teaching techniques. This qualitative study investigated the utilization of Information and Communication Technology (ICT) in an Open Distance Learning (ODL) university located Botswana. The sampling technique employed was judgmental sampling, which involved selection 16 participants comprising a lecturer, students, officers responsible for managing Management System (LMS). data collection process incorporated face-to-face interviews with lecturer officers, as well open-ended e-questionnaires administered to students. Narrative analysis conducted separately By applying Attrition theory, findings disclosed that students Botswana University encounter challenges ODL mode due limited resources, inadequate or non-existent internet services, remoteness areas where access BOU campuses is impracticable. According lecturers, they also require technical support when assessing students' work, these often difficulties uploading their assignments onto university's LMS. Consequently, recommends should ensure availability ICT tools address issues related connectivity bandwidth by providing reliable services. Additionally, it proposed undergo comprehensive training on LMS systems, encompassing both non-technical aspects, prior commencement academic year, order adequately prepare them studies.

Background: The COVID-19 pandemic posed unprecedented challenges to higher education in Germany, necessitating a rapid transition remote learning. This study evaluates the impact of on academic functioning among German university students. Methods: An online survey was conducted with 207 students aged 18 35. Results: Significantly poorer evident during pandemic, particularly output and role satisfaction. Younger (18 24 years) experienced greater decrease contact teachers lower compared older (25 35 years). These findings suggest that younger may struggle more learning due self-regulation time management. Additionally, pandemic-induced disruptions blurred boundaries between work personal life, increasing stress adversely affecting performance. No significant differences were found based sex or living situation. In the context of ongoing curriculum teaching reform accelerated by COVID-19 pandemic, evaluating online logistics courses from learners’ perspectives and identifying strategies for improvement have become critical areas inquiry. Despite growing body literature on education, existing studies often overlook specific topics interest emotional tendencies course learners. This study addresses this gap utilizing push-pull-mooring (PPM) theory, originally developed human migration studies, to elucidate transition learners offline environments, while exploring formation process significance instruction. We employ ROST Content Mining System (ROST CM) software conduct word frequency analysis, semantic network sentiment analysis review text data two offered China University massive open (MOOC) platform. Our findings indicate that prioritize three key aspects: “teacher,”“course,” “learning content,” with high-frequency words revealing a hierarchical structure “topic → emotion.” While most expressed positive satisfactory sentiments, minority conveyed neutral or negative emotions. Based these insights, paper proposes targeted recommendations focusing instructor guidance, enhancing interaction, fostering reflective practices.

Effective engagement during online learning is essential for achieving successful student outcomes. This study aims to determine the level of among undergraduate students and its influencing factors process. Data were collected from a sample 609 students, taken four public private universities in Malaysia. Results showed that undergradaute have moderate learning. Their was significantly influenced by perceptions learning, experiences self-regulation skills, as demonstrated results partial least square-structural equation modeling (PLS-SEM). These accounted 63.7% variance students' (R2 = .637, p < 0.01). The implications discussed.

Abstract Background Any abrupt changes in the educational system can have a negative effect on students. Dental students at X University faced two undergraduate curriculum over two-year period, namely COVID-19 pandemic and national shift to three-term system. This research aims investigate of these dental Methods Semi-structured interviews were carried out with ten fifth-year students, who asked about their perception thoughts adaptation strategies. Results The results showed that high levels stress impaired academic achievements associated sudden curriculum. perceived transition negatively worse than what they experienced during pandemic. Conclusions Justifying reasons for change greatly affected students’ perceptions. Recommendations smooth provided this research.
