Undeniably the COVID-19 pandemic has resulted in unprecedented threats and severe traumas for human beings. However, a proportion of people, struggle with this crisis led to positive mental health outcomes, known as posttraumatic growth (PTG). This study compared PTG levels between community residents healthcare workers (HCWs) across two time points identified coping strategies that promote each domain separately. An online questionnaire was administered 2,437 respondents (499 253 HCWs 1157 528 residents, at timepoints 1 2, respectively). The Post-Traumatic Growth Inventory assessed five domains Brief COPE strategies. After controlling gender, age, education, ANCOVA showed significant interaction effect; although had lower scores on T1, T2 they significantly higher scores. reframing religion positively predicted all among both groups.
