The COVID-19 pandemic led many individuals to experience moral transgressions, exacerbating feelings of guilt and remorse. This study explored the role self-forgiveness such transgressions in explaining their associations with psychological well-being family conflict. We hypothesized that (a) higher levels would be associated greater reduced conflict, (b) perceived relevance positively indirectly conflict through mediation self-forgiveness, (c) relationships between variables interest could vary across age. Adults (N = 277; M age 30.04) completed anonymous online questionnaires assessing committed, forgiveness unforgiveness self, well-being, during first lockdown Italy. Structural equation modeling revealed transgression was both related via self-forgiveness. Greater self eudaimonic whereas linked increased well-being. findings also indicated moderated relationship hedonic association weakening as increased. results highlight importance promoting enhance resilience familial stability, particularly challenging times.

Background Physical activity can alleviate negative emotions in college students by enhancing mood and cognitive functions. Yet, the mechanisms underlying these benefits remain unclear. Purpose This study examines association between physical emotions—specifically, depression, anxiety, stress—in students. Additionally, we explore mediating effects of psychological resilience coping styles to offer theoretical practical insights for mitigating students’ emotions. Methods Using a stratified random sampling approach, total 1,380 students, from five universities Hangzhou, Nanjing, Wenzhou, were included analysis. Stress around COVID-19 among university students is associated with higher physical symptom burden and worse overall health status. This study examined whether RNT trait forgiveness mediate the link between perceived stress outcomes Chinese students.
