Introduction the role of stress in inducing bedtime procrastination is a new research topic that has emerged recent years. This study aimed to explore psychological mechanism by which perceived affects Chinese college students life history framework. Methods first, we investigated whether strategy mediate their relationships. Then, examined distress tolerance moderated direct effects on and/or indirect them mediated strategy. The data 1021 were analyzed. Results results showed that: (1) had significant predictive effect procrastination; (2) played mediating relationship between and (3) strategy, but not them. Discussion present suggested history-based interventions might be an effective intervention for stress-induced procrastination. ABSTRACT Background: (BP) is an increasingly prevalent behavior with detrimental outcomes for individuals. Three reasons BP have been identified: Deliberate procrastination, mindless and strategic delay. Developing instrument to assess the allows better identification of patterns behaviors tailored interventions. The present study aims develop psychometric properties (RBPS). Bedtime procrastination Reasons Procrastination Scale Method: sample included adults living in Portugal (N = 653). Validity reliability analyses were conducted. Results: Principal component analysis suggested that RBPS composed two factors (factor 1 - deliberate reasons; factor 2 reasons). Confirmatory supported two-factor structure scale (e.g., CFI .984; TLI .976 RMSEA .053). demonstrated good internal consistency, a Cronbach's alpha coefficient .85 1, .72 2. The study aims to investigate whether physical exercise is associated with psychological resilience, thereby significantly affecting adolescent social anxiety, and analyze the longitudinal cross-temporal stability between these three interrelated factors. methodology involved a survey utilizing International Physical Activity Questionnaire (IPAQ), Connor-Davidson Resilience Scale (CD-RISC), Social Anxiety (SAS) across various regions in China, including Sichuan, Guangdong, Shanxi Province, Beijing. A total of 1259 participants were recruited from primary, middle, high schools, an average age 13.7 years. sample comprised 626 males 633 females. tracking approach was implemented, commencing June 2023, follow-up rounds scheduled every months, culminating four rounds. results are as follows: (1) positively correlated resilience (r = 0.35, p < 0.001) negatively anxiety - 0.26, 0.001); (2) could predict next period (PET1 → SAT2: β 0.31, (3) Psychological played mediating role association on PRT2: 0.42, PRT2 SAT3: 0.38, p-values 0.001). exercise, exhibit stability, has significant lagged effect anxiety. may indirectly reduce through its enhanced adolescents.
