Abstract Electric planes (e-planes) represent a significant innovation in aviation and technology general. E-planes will bring many environmental benefits such as reduced noise pollution, smaller carbon footprint, elimination of fossil fuel dependency, reliance on cleaner energy sources. These contribute to promising new future the adoption sustainable practices. However, despite these benefits, consumers/travelers may be hesitant adopt e-planes due risk involved technologies innovations. This study investigates factors that influence potential travelers’ intentions travel via e-planes. We specifically look at associated with perceived risk. In addition, we investigate impact personal traits risk-taking susceptibility utilized structural equation modeling (SEM) analyze conceptual model using responses from 266 participants. Results show personality trait has largest intention have positive adoption. The is more than 50% higher results important implications strategies companies should follow improve rate
