Abstract Geotechnical road construction work requires many tests that integrate several parameters, which can be reduced by predictions. This paper establishes the prediction through Cramer multiple linear regression technique of modified Proctor parameters and California Bearing Ratio (CBR) in function Fines Atterberg limits, lateritic materials developed on metamorphic rocks. The such as Maximum Dry Density (MDD), Optimum Moisture Content (OMC) CBR index a unknown %fines (˂80µm), Plasticity Index (PI) Liquid limit (LL), were determined. study soil mechanics shows that, (13 to 53) MDD (1.5 2.1 g/cm3) increase percentage fines (75 12%) decreases. These values used for backfill foundation layers traffic T1 T2/T3. Principal Component Analysis (PCA) reveals presence three classes C1 (LL, PL OMC), C2 (˂80µm) C3 (CBR MDD), representing two families related respectively. determination coefficients obtained are 0.998 with R2 = 0.996 MDD; 0.991 0.982 OMC 0.98 0.97 at 95% optimum respectively, indicating an excellent correlation. helps handle smaller quantities materials, save time, reduce energy expenditure cost analyses field campaigns.
