This research aimed to estimate the optimum formulation of process parameters in making tomato powder with optimal physicochemical properties using foam-mat drying. The egg albumin (EA) concentration (1-5%), carboxymethyl cellulose (CMC) (1-1.5 %), and drying temperature (60-70 °C) were employed as independent variables optimizing through Response Surface Methodology (RSM) combination Box-Behnken experimental design (BBD). Based on total 17 runs BBD, dried showed such 0.18-0.33 g/cm

This study optimised ultrasound-assisted extraction (UAE) temperature, time, and ethanol concentration to investigate total phenolic content (TPC), flavonoid (TFC), antioxidant activity (DPPH free radical scavenging assay) from hog plum peel seed. Optimisation used Response Surface Methodology (RSM) with a Box-Behnken design (BBD) of three factors at levels. The variables for both seed were temperature (40–60 °C), time (30–60 min), concentrations (40–80 %). Fifteen experimental runs conducted, using second-order polynomial model (quadratic) analysis variance (ANOVA) predict the responses validate model. results revealed that moisture, protein, fat, crude fibre, ash, carbohydrate differences in their nutrient content. Additionally, contains TPC 95–104 mg GAE/100 g DM, DPPH 68–92 %, TFC 1.622–2.312 QE/g while varies between 97 110 ranges 71 95 1–22 DM R2 value TPC, TFC, was 0.99, indicating quadratic is satisfactory analysing interactions response independent variables. Furthermore, RSM identified optimal conditions maximising 59.82 °C, 41.08 min, 76.64 % concentration. Under settings, observed values 108.34 ± 7.23 (peel) 101.45 3.65 (seed) 2.98 2.10 (peel), 3.98 1.34 85.13 5.43 84.35 4.10 activity. establishes framework further investigation into UAE parameters solvents enhance efficiency peel.

Using chemical and physicochemical techniques, we extracted the mucilaginous component of okra (Abelmoschus esculentus L.) by ultrasound-assisted extraction method, then evaluated resulting polysaccharide extract's rheological properties. Our investigation encompassed examining flow behavior polysaccharides under different to distilled water ratios (1:10 1:30) various concentrations (1, 2, 3 4%, w/v) over a temperature range 10°C 80°C. Employing power law model, derived parameters found that displayed non-Newtonian pseudoplastic characteristics. The index ranged from 0.234 0.947, with consistency coefficient ranging 4.37 244.50 mPa.s. Increasing resulted in decrease both (K) (n), while concentration elevation led higher values. However, did not exhibit consistent trends variations. Three statistical parameters; correlation (R2), root mean square error (RMSE) chi-square (χ2) were used evaluate fit model experimental data. study further explored temperature’s impact on apparent viscosities samples modeled influence using Arrhenius equation. Samples solid-to-solvent 1:10 1:30 showed increasing activation energy rise, highest value recorded at 275.84 kJ/mol for ratio sample 4% concentration.
