ABSTRACT Breeding of new cultivars sugarcane uses several species belonging to the Saccharum complex genus. In this study, a set 20 genotypes from was assessed for their growth promotion during germination using mixed inoculant containing five selected diazotrophs and resistance short heat treatment (52°C / 30 min).
