As widely generated by-products with significant bioactive compound content, sugarcane molasses exhibits high potential for valorization. For the purpose of extraction from molasses, ultrasound-assisted various hydroethanolic solvents (0, 2.5, 5, 7.5, and 10% ethanol) at different pH values (4.11, 5.11, 6.11, 7.11) was examined. In obtained extracts, content total phenolics, monomeric anthocyanins, flavonoids, tannins, antioxidant capacity (DPPH) estimated alongside determination molasses’ major components through GC-MS analysis Based on sugars nitrogenous compounds emerged as most abundant classes. Hydroethanolic solvent 2.5% 6.11 exhibited prominent power regarding phenolics (22074.98 µg GAE mL−1) flavonoids (245.42 QE mL−1). Furthermore, 5.11 displayed highest tannins (1177.85 CE The behavior anthocyanins in slightly different, where extracted amount 4.11 (11.1 CGE 7.11 (10.68 results DPPH assay indicated that extracts using (68.35%) (68.10%) evinced neutralization against free radicals. conclusion, 4.11-6.11 were suitable extracting molasses.

Abstract Sugarcane bagasse is an agro-industrial waste available in enormous quantities Egypt. It rich of organic carbon which makes it a potential feedstock for activated production. This study provides optimized pyrolysis method production from bagasse. samples impregnated with sulfuric acid, 24 h, and carbonized at 500 °C, two hours, yielded the best surface area 431.375 m 2 /g. The impregnation ratio was 2.5:1 (sulfuric acid/bagasse). prepared used adsorbing heavy metals (Pb, Cd, Mn, Cu, Cr) Nile Tilapia reused frying oil. could adsorb 80% particularly removed Cd. characteristics are comparable to those recommended commercial carbon. cost using this about 707 $ cheaper than by 40%.
