Diabetes is a global health concern with significant implications for individuals and societies. results from complex interaction between genes environmental factors, including metal exposure. Lead or plumbum (Pb) heavy pollutant predicted to be associated the morbidity of diabetes. The aim this study was assess relationship blood Pb level possible risk factors (body mass index insulin resistance, carbohydrate intake, sugar physical activity) fasting (FBS) in women living mining area. A cross-sectional conducted area Indonesia located Pemali District, Bangka Belitung Regency, involving aged 30–49, selected through purposive sampling. Logistic regression used FBS level, while Spearman correlation analyze correlations level. Our data indicated that concentration other (carbohydrate intake were neither nor correlated However, as predicted, resistance OR: 9.66; 95%CI: 1.13–82.29; p=0.038. In addition, Homeostatic Model Assessment Insulin Resistance (HOMA-IR) score also (r=0.316, p=0.002). This highlights not diabetes

To observe the role of a public health chronic disease prediction method based on capsule network and information system in clinical treatment management. Patients with hypertension, diabetes, asthma admitted from May 2022 to October 2023 were incorporated into research. They grouped hypertension group (n = 341), diabetes 341). The established was used diagnose these types diseases. key influencing factors obtained by compared regression analysis results. In addition, its diagnostic accuracy specificity analyzed, value this explored. This applied management approach improved distribution prevalence effectiveness residents' acceptance before after improvement compared, application affecting three diseases methods found be significantly correlated occurrence (p < 0.05). Compared application, accuracy, sensitivity values 88.6, 89 92%, respectively, which higher than empirical doctors other existing AI-based methods, AUC proposed theirs indicates that study has accuracy. After applying management, wellbeing individuals conditions community notably improved, incidence rate reduced level residents toward work departments also raised systems high diagnosis can help physicians accurately patients' conditions. Management adjust strategies timely manner through predictive results propose targeted measures characteristics community.

The findings regarding trace element concentrations in patients diagnosed with type 2 diabetes and healthy controls are inconsistent, therefore, we determined to gather them the form of a review further indicate need for more advanced knowledge development. In our study, reviewed articles studies that involved topics micronutrient metal associations occurrence development diabetes. We mainly included works human-based studies, but limited research results, animal-based was also taken into account. With some newer reached initial assumptions previous statements. results indicated higher serum levels lead, cadmium, arsenic, bromine, barium, strontium, nickel, aluminum, calcium, copper, ferritin positively associated diabetic prevalence. Both too-low too-high zinc, selenium, magnesium may be connected Chromium has capability insulin response modulation, enhanced insulin-cell binding, thus, lower chromium can found patients. There contradictory discoveries manganese. Its supplementation possibly cease resistance On contrary, other reported there is no such connection. Our work indicates that, as micronutrients play significant role pathogenesis metabolic disorders, their bodily homeostasis should conducted.

Abstract Background Fewer studies have focused on the interaction of metal mixtures with hypertension, especially in Chinese community-dwelling elderly. In addition, relationship between metals exposure and hypertension may be weakened or strengthened due to presence multiple chronic diseases Methods this study, inductively coupled plasma mass spectrometry was used detect levels 12 urine 693 elderly people Yinchuan community. Conditional logistic regression model restricted cubic spline analysis (RCS) were explore association urinary concentration dose-response relationship. Quantile g-computation Bayesian kernel machine (BKMR) analyze individual concentrations risk. Results Urinary (vanadium, iron, cobalt, zinc, copper, arsenic, selenium, molybdenum, cadmium, tellurium, thallium, lead) higher group than non-hypertension group. RCS models, vanadium, lead showed a linear analyses cadmium contributed largest positive weights. The BKMR models that slope became steep at iron when other three median. Conclusion We found associated risk significant lead. Further research is needed confirm our findings elucidate underlying mechanisms hypertension.
