Research on the resilience path of digitally driven project-based organizations: configuration analysis based on multivalue-set qualitative comparative analysis

Purpose The use of digital technology is crucial for building resilience and shaping competitive advantages in project-based organizations (PBOs). purpose this study to explore the impact elements on organizational enhancement paths PBOs represented by construction industry context digitization. Design/methodology/approach This uses multivalue-set qualitative comparative analysis (mvQCA). First, we collect digitization keywords from annual reports classify them as process digitization, application production intelligence while also considering word frequency statistics antecedent conditions. Second, through a literature review data collected, define ability defend, resist, recover develop. Then, mvQCA approach examine how variables collectively advance PBO resilience. Findings By collecting 79 listed Chinese companies utilizing mvQCA, identify five combinations conditions that produce high levels resilience, solution coverage 1. These methods are (1) application-oriented, (2) digitalization-oriented, (3) digitized multifactor coupling, (4) application-driven (5) digitalization intelligence-driven.
