Platform digitization capability and organizational resilience: examining the roles of resource reconfiguration and environmental munificence

Purpose Despite the importance of platform digitization capability to established firms, empirical research related capability, resource reconfiguration and organizational resilience remains scarce. Based on action view contingency theory, this study constructs an integrated theoretical framework examine mediation effect moderation environmental munificence in relationship between resilience. Design/methodology/approach Survey data comprising 312 valid responses are collected from manufacturing firms China. Partial least squares equation modeling (PLS) was used test hypotheses. Findings Results showed that is positively Resource recombination reallocation mediate capability–organizational relationship. Furthermore, significantly strengthens while weakens Originality/value This reveals path affecting resilience, discusses different role makes incremental contributions view. It also studies impact under condition munificence, which provides a new perspective for enriches application theory crisis context.
