Abstract Purpose of Review The purpose this review is to investigate the use digital health technologies and/or therapeutics (DTx) products in treatment substance disorders (SUDs) general population and among criminal justice–involved individuals. Recent Findings Despite an expanding evidence base, only three SUD DTxs have received federal regulatory approval. In May 2022, a global outbreak of mpox (formerly monkeypox virus) affected thousands mainly gay and bisexual men. Mpox is usually time-limited illness that can involve fever, pain, skin lesions, but may require hospitalisation. There scant research into the firsthand experiences people by mpox, including symptoms, healthcare, recovery. This study considers different narratives who experienced in Australia 2022. In-depth interviews 6-month follow-up were conducted with 16 people, 13 diagnosed three close contacts. All participants cisgender or men living Australia. Participants' accounts described minor to severe periods sickness, negative stigmatising engaging some long-term effects on their sexual well-being complications from mpox. Abstract This article explores the impact of digital transformation on sexual and reproductive health promotion from an interdisciplinary perspective, focusing implications rapidly evolving policy landscapes for Australian workforce. We draw 29 key informant interviews workshops with 18 current professionals (aged 18–29). Both groups were invited to reflect how data literacies are currently understood applied within sector. Interviewees shared concerns related literacy, equity, challenges integrating technologies into practice. Findings highlight need strategic approaches that shift focus away individual towards broader organisational capabilities. These capabilities include: understanding platform governance (e.g. in relation social media content moderation); consumers service users utilise systems support wellbeing; ways equity justice can be undermined or advanced settings. conclude recommendations enhancing workforce DDoH practice improve equity. Participant recruitment for qualitative research often offers incentives (honoraria; financial compensation) to increase participation and recognise lived expertise time involved in research. AbstractBackground The emergence of molecular HIV surveillance (MHS) and cluster detection response (CDR) programs as key features the United States (US) strategy since 2018 has caused major controversies. that re-use individuals' routinely collected clinical data do not require consent on basis public benefit these outweighs rights to opt out. However, criticisms MHS/CDR have questioned whether expanded uses genetic sequence for prevention reach beyond traditional health ethics frameworks. This study aimed explore views within among critical stakeholders.Methods In 2021 we interviewed 26 US stakeholders who identified being or concerned about rollout MHS/CDR. Abstract Background There is growing consensus that primary health care (PHC) providers have an important role in providing holistic, preventative for people living with human immunodeficiency virus (PLHIV). In regional Australia, HIV primarily delivered through specialist services, thus adequate coordination and communication between PHC professionals crucial. This study aimed to explore patient experiences of the professional PLHIV Australia. Methods Semi-structured interviews a area Australia were conducted March April 2022. Interviews via video conferencing, face-to-face, or telephone call. audio-recorded manually transcribed. Transcripts coded inductively thematic analysis was perspectives on coordination. Results Thirteen participants interviewed. Most male, aged 50–70, diagnosed more than ten years ago, had been long-term. Through qualitative analysis, themes emerged following areas: (1) Patient perception coordination; (2) understanding modality communication; (3) Positive attitudes towards healthcare professionals; (4) Concerns information sharing professionals. Many highlighted lack clarity around as key issue their healthcare, some citing themselves coordinator. Participants identified services are essential delivery care, but hesitant this occur. Hesitancy entrenched patients’ distrust due previous confidentiality breaches stigma.
