Biopolymer-based nanocomposites are favorable materials for the encapsulation of biofertilizers and biocontrol agents. In this research, sodium alginate, a widely used natural polymer, was extracted purified from Macrocystis pyrifera. Its composition confirmed using 1H NMR FTIR analyses, its molecular weight mannuronic acid/guluronic acid ratio were obtained. Sodium alginate-gelatin microcapsules enriched with carbon nanotubes SiO2 nanoparticles prepared to encapsulate Bacillus velezensis, biological effects formulation on control pistachio gummosis growth parameters investigated. Microscopy examination showed that had quite globular shapes. XRD occurrence an electrostatic interaction when alginate blended gelatin. The survival rate encapsulated bacteria about 107 CFU/mL maintained after one year storage. aim study achieve unique containing beneficial synergistic Phytophthora drechsleri.

The worldwide increase in population continues to threaten the sustainability of agricultural systems since output must be optimized meet global rise food demand. Sub-Saharan Africa (SSA) is among regions with a fast-growing but decreasing crop productivity. Pests and diseases, as well inadequate nitrogen (N) levels soils, are some biggest restrictions production SSA. N one most important plant-limiting elements its deficit usually remedied by using nitrogenous fertilizers. However, indiscriminate use these artificial fertilizers has been linked environmental pollution calling for alternative fertilization mechanisms. Soybean ( Glycine max ) legumes world. Several species rhizobia from four genera, Bardyrhizobium, Rhizobium, Mesorhizobium , Ensifer (formerly Sinorhizobium ), observed effectively fix soybean perform various plant-growth promoting (PGP) functions. efficiency symbiosis differs type species, cultivar, biotic factors. Therefore, complete understanding ecology indigenous soybean-nodulating concerning their genetic diversity factors associated localization dominance soil important. This review aimed understand potential through synthesis literature regarding characterization different approaches, diversity, symbiotic effectiveness, functions biological fixation (BNF) biocontrol soil-borne pathogens.

The plant-growth-promoting rhizobacteria (PGPR) in the rhizosphere affect plant growth, health, and productivity, as well soil-nutrient contents. They are considered a green eco-friendly technology that will reduce chemical-fertilizer usage, thereby reducing production costs protecting environment. Out of 58 bacterial strains isolated Qassim, Saudi Arabia, four were identified by 16S rRNA Streptomyces cinereoruber strain P6-4, Priestia megaterium P12, Rossellomorea aquimaris P22-2, Pseudomonas plecoglossicida P24. (PGP) features bacteria involving inorganic phosphate (P) solubilization, indole acetic acid (IAA), siderophore secretion assessed vitro. Regarding P previous strains' efficacy reached 37.71%, 52.84%, 94.31%, 64.20%, respectively. produced considerable amounts IAA (69.82, 251.70, 236.57, 101.94 µg/mL) after 4 days incubation at 30 °C. Furthermore, rates 35.51, 26.37, 23.84 psu, respectively, same strains. application selected presence rock (RP) with tomato plants under greenhouse conditions was evaluated. growth P-uptake traits positively significantly increased response to all treatments, except for some traits, such height, number leaves, leaf DM 21 DAT, compared negative control (rock phosphate, T2). Notably, P. P12 (T4), followed R. P22-2 (T5), revealed best values related height (at 45 DAT), leaves per root length, area, leaf-P uptake, stem total uptake phosphate. first two components PCA (principal component analysis) represented 71.99% (PCA1 = 50.81% PCA2 21.18%) variation DAT. Finally, PGPR improved vegetative-growth through IAA, production, ameliorated availability nutrients. Thus, applying sustainable agriculture potentially protect environment from contamination chemical fertilizers pesticides.

Climate-induced drought impacts plant growth and development. Recurring droughts increase the demand for water food production landscaping. Native plants in Intermountain West region of US are keen interest low use landscaping as they acclimatized to dry cold environments. These native do very well at their locations but difficult propagate landscape. One possible reasons is lack associated microbiome Microbiome soil contributes health Here, we used bulk from Ceanothus velutinus (snowbrush ceanothus) inoculant enhance its propagation. Snowbrush ceanothus an ornamental low-water that hard asexually. Using 50% potting mix significantly improved survival rate cuttings compared no-treated cuttings. Twenty-four growth-promoting rhizobacteria (PGPR) producing indole acetic acid (IAA) were isolated rhizosphere roots survived snowbrush. Seventeen isolates had more than 10µg/mL IAA shortlisted tested seven different (PGP) traits; 76% showed nitrogen-fixing ability on Norris Glucose Nitrogen free media,70% phosphate solubilization activity, siderophore production, 36% protease 94% ACC deaminase activity DF-ACC media, produced catalase all ammonia. Eight seventeen isolates, CK-6, CK-22, CK-41, CK-44, CK-47, CK-50, CK-53, CK-55, shoot biomass Arabidopsis thaliana . Seven out eight identified Pseudomonas , except Sphingobium based 16S rRNA gene sequencing. The being grain vegetable crops mitigate stress promote growth.

Abstract Ferroptosis is an iron-dependent cell death that was discovered recently. For beneficial microbes to establish mutualistic relationships with hosts, precisely controlled in plant cells necessary. However, whether ferroptosis involved the endophyte‒plant system poorly understood. Here, we reported endophytic Streptomyces hygroscopicus OsiSh-2, which established a sophisticated and interaction host rice plants, caused ferroptotic characterized by ferroptosis- immune-related markers. Treatments inhibitors inducers, different doses of siderophore synthesis-deficient mutant Δ cchH revealed only moderate induced endophytes essential for establishment optimal symbiont enhance growth. Additionally, defence-primed state rice, contributed improved resistance against blast disease. Overall, our study provides new insights into mechanisms interactions mediated suggests directions crop yield promotion.
