Pleosporales is the largest fungal order with a worldwide distribution in terrestrial and aquatic environments. During investigations of saprobic fungi associated mango (Mangifera indica) Baoshan Honghe, Yunnan, China, taxa belonging to pleosporales were collected. Morphological examinations phylogenetic analyses ITS, LSU, SSU, rpb2 tef1-α loci used identify taxa. A new genus, Mangifericomes; four species, namely Mangifericomes hongheensis, Neomassaria Paramonodictys yunnanensis; six host country records, Byssosphaeria siamensis, Crassiparies quadrisporus, Paradictyoarthrinium aquatica, Phaeoseptum mali, Torula fici, Vaginatispora amygdali, are introduced. Photoplates, full descriptions, trees show placement known provided.

This review brings together the research efforts on salt marsh fungi, including their geographical distribution and host association. A total of 486 taxa associated with different hosts in ecosystems are listed this review. The belong to three phyla wherein Ascomycota dominates from accounting for 95.27% (463 taxa). Basidiomycota Mucoromycota constitute 19 four taxa, respectively. Dothideomycetes has highest number which comprises 47.12% (229 taxa), followed by Sordariomycetes 167 (34.36%). Pleosporales is largest order 178 recorded. Twenty-seven genera under 11 families halophytes were reviewed its fungal associates. Within the field of mycology, macrofungi have been relatively well-studied when compared to microfungi. However, diversity and distribution microfungi inhabiting woody material not received same degree research attention, especially in unexplored regions, such as Yunnan Province, China. To help address this knowledge gap, we collected examined fungal specimens from different plants at various locations across Province. Our investigation led discovery four species that are clearly distinct extant ones. These taxonomic novelties were recognized based on morphological comparisons coupled with phylogenetic analyses multiple gene sequences (non-translated loci protein-coding regions). The monotypic genus Neoheleiosa gen. nov. (type: N. lincangensis) is introduced Monoblastiaceae (Monoblastiales) for a woody-based saprobic ascomycete possesses globose subglobose or obpyriform ascomata centric eccentric, papillate ostioles, an ascomatal wall thin-walled cells textura globulosa, cylindric, pedicellate asci ocular chamber, 1-septate, brown, guttulate, longitudinally striated, bicellular ascospores. has close affinity Heleiosa, nevertheless, it morphologically dissimilar by its peridium ornamented Acrocalymma hongheense A. yuxiense described illustrated new Acrocalymmaceae. sexual asexual (coelomycetous) features. morph characterized subglobose, ostiolate ascomata, angularis cells, cylindric-clavate furcate truncate pedicel hyaline, fusiform, 1-septate ascospores which surrounded thick, sheath, featured pycnidial conidiomata, subcylindrical, smooth, annelledic, conidiogenous aseptate conidia mucoid ooze apex rounded hilum base. phylogenetically other differs taxa having three vertical eusepta. Magnibotryascoma kunmingense sp. accommodated Teichosporaceae coelomycetous pycnidial, enteroblastic, discrete, cylindrical oblong, hyaline arising inner layer pycnidium wall, oval, pale brown unicelled conidia.
