Junewangiaceae
(Sordariomycetes)
is
a
family
with
relatively
recent
taxonomic
history
and
small
number
of
described
species.
However,
major
challenge
within
this
the
inability
to
distinguish
between
various
genera
based
solely
on
phylogenetic
analysis.
In
study,
we
introduced
two
new
species,
Junewangia
guangxiensis
J.
synnematica,
which
formed
independent
clades
in
analysis
displayed
characteristics
that
were
easily
distinguishable
from
other
species
family.
Additionally,
three
previously
known
viz.,
Dictyosporella
aquatica,
D.
thailandensis,
are
reported
China
for
first
time.
Furthermore,
bambusicola
documented
freshwater
habitat.
The
results
enhance
our
understanding
provide
some
suggestions
addressing
problems
future.

Three
isolates
of
interest
were
collected
during
an
investigation
freshwater
fungi
from
wetlands
in
the
karst
regions
Guizhou
Province,
Southwest
China.
Phylogenetic
analyses
using
ITS,
LSU,
SSU,
and
tef-1α
gene
have
revealed
placements
these
Melanommataceae
(Pleosporales,
Dothideomycetes).
Based
on
morphological
phylogenetic
evidence,
three
new
species
are
introduced:
Byssosphaeria
chishuiensis
sp.
nov.
,
Camposporium
guizhouense
C.
aquaticum
is
sister
to
B.
villosa
forms
a
basal
branch
within
Melanommataceae.
chishuiense
similar
ascal
size
but
differs
ascomata
ascospore
sizes,
ascospores
lack
appendages.

form
distinct
lineage
genus.
Morphologically,
resembles
its
conidial
shape
size.
Additionally,
PHI
analysis
performed
further
reveal
that
no
significant
recombination
with
related
taxa.

We
are
investigating
saprobic
Ascomycota
in
Guizhou
Province,
China.
Fungal
specimens
collected
from
dead
wood
were
identified
based
on
morphological
characteristics
and
multi-gene
phylogenetic
analyses
of
ITS,
SSU,
LSU,
β-tubulin,
ef1-α,
rpb2
sequence
data.
Three
novel
species,
Neoroussoellaguizhouensis,
Roussoellaguizhouensis,
Xenodidymellaguizhouensis,
introduced,
along
with
one
new
geographical
record,
Xenoroussoellatriseptata.
This
study
contributes
to
our
understanding
the
diversity
