Botryobasidium bambusinum sp. nov. was collected in Yunnan Province, China, is described here as a new species based on its morphology and phylogeny. In this study, the taxon characterised by resupinate, coriaceous conidiomata with smooth, hypochnoid, rubiginous to slightly reddish-brown hymenial surface, thick-walled basal hyphae simple septa, subcylindrical, septate subglobose globose, conidia measuring 7.2–9.5 × 7–9 µm. Phylogenetic analyses of were internal transcribed spacer (ITS) large subunit (nrLSU) ribosomal DNA (rDNA) sequences. The phylogenetic tree indicated that belonged genus Botryobasidium, closely related B. gossypirubiginosum, rubiginosum simile. gossypirubiginosum differs from having floccose cotton conidiomata. differentiates cottony conidiomata, ovoid ellipsoid, larger (14.5–16 10.5–12.5 µm vs µm). simile can be distinguished an ochraceous fulvous (21.5–27 16–18 A detailed description, illustrations analysis are provided.

Four new fungi, viz. Clavulinopsiswumengshanensis (Clavariaceae, Agaricales), Henningsomycesbambusae (Porotheleaceae, Xenasmabisterigmatae, and X.guttulata (Xenasmataceae, Russulales), from Yunnan Province in China, are proposed, based on a combination of morphological features molecular evidence. Wood-inhabiting fungi can decompose wood materials and play a crucial role in the natural world by maintaining equilibrium of Earth's ecosystems. In present study, five new wood-inhabiting fungal species belonging to order Hymenochaetales, Hymenochaeteweishanensis, Lyomycesalbofarinaceus, Lyomycesalbomarginatus, Tubulicrinisalbobadius Xylodonmusicola, collected from southern China, are proposed based on combination morphological features molecular evidence. Hymenochaeteweishanensis is characterized coriaceous, tuberculate hymenial surface, monomitic hyphal system with simple-septate generative hyphae, ellipsoid narrow basidiospores (4.0-5.0 × 2.0-3.0 µm); Lyomycesalbofarinaceus pruinose clamped broadly (6.0-7.0 5.0-6.0 Lyomycesalbomarginatus cracked elliposoid (4.0-5.5 2.7-3.5 an arachnoid hyphae cylindrical allantoid (4.0-6.0 1.5-2.2 µm) Xylodonmusicola globe 3.5-5.0 µm). A new genus, Rostrupomyces is established to accommodate Xerocomus sisongkhramensis based on multiple protein-coding genes ( atp 6, cox 3, tef 1, and rpb 2) analyses of a wide taxon sampling Boletaceae. In our phylogeny, the genus was sister Rubinosporus in subfamily Xerocomoideae, phylogenetically distant from , which highly supported as Phylloporus same Xerocomoideae. different other genera Boletaceae by following combination characters: rugulose subrugulose pileus surface, white pores when young becoming pale yellow age, subscabrous stipe surface scattered with granulose squamules, basal mycelium, unchanging color any parts, yellowish brown spore print, broadly ellipsoid ellipsoid, smooth basidiospores. addition, Hemileccinum inferius also newly described. The basidiomycete genus Botryobasidium is a resupinate saprotrophic with global distribution range from coniferous to broad-leaved forest ecosystems. Freshwater fungi consist of a highly diverse group organisms in freshwater habitats worldwide. During survey fungal diversity across different regions Jiangxi Province, China, four were collected. To study their phylogenetic relationships, the internal transcribed spacer (ITS1-5.8S-ITS2), large subunit (28S, LSU), small (18S, SSU), and RNA polymerase II (RPB2) genes selected for analyses. Based on morphology coupled with analysis, these strains confirmed to belong Phaeoisaria, Pleurothecium, Pseudodactylaria. Among them, three as new species, namely, Pleurothecium lignicola (Pleurotheciaceae), Pseudodactylaria jiangxiensis (Pseudodactylariaceae), Ps. (Pseudodactylariaceae). Wood-decaying fungi represent a vital group of higher that drive the cycling matter and energy in forest ecosystems, they have been focus thorough investigation. In this study, five new species, viz. Botryobasidiumdaweishanense, Inonotussubglobisporum, Kneiffiellabubalina, Xylodongranulanoides, X.granulans from China, are described illustrated based on morphological characteristics molecular phylogenetic analyses, which sequences ITS+nLSU genes were used for analyses by maximum likelihood Bayesian inference methods. The phylogeny revealed Botryobasidiumdaweishanense groups with three taxa, viz., B.intertextum, B.leptocystidiatum, B.subcoronatum. Inonotussubglobisporum is closely related to I.radiatus. Kneiffiellabubalina clustered sister K.subalutacea. Xylodongranulanoides close relationship X.bambusinus, X.fissuratus, X.subclavatus, X.montanus, X.wenshanensis. Additionally, together. characterized an araneose hymenial surface, fusiform, cyanophilous basidiospores (6.1-7.3 × 3.3-3.9 μm). perennial basidiomata lateral stipes, polygon pores measuring 4-6 per mm, subglobose, (3.6-4.3 2.8-3.5 cream cylindrical slightly allantoid (8.0-8.9 1.8-2.3 grandinioid surfaces, various cystidia, broadly ellipsoid, thick-walled (4.7-5.3 3.6-4.1 Xylodongranulans capitate clavate ellipsoid (3.8-4.2 2.9-3.3 Phylogenetic analysis internal transcribed spacer (ITS) nuclear large subunit RNA (nLSU) shows four species members Hymenochaetales, one belongs Cantharellales.
