The red rose is one of the perspective natural resources anthocyanins, however kinetic study for anthocyanins extraction petals not yet elucidated. Red were dried at 303 K and ground (particle size ~ 5 mm). extracted by aqueous acid solutions using conventional solid-liquid extraction. efficiency 0.1 M acids as extractants towards was studied it can be arranged in following row: citric < acetic hydrochloric acid. Kinetic investigations focusing on temperature effect from performed three temperatures (293, 313, 333 K). curves obtained an solution It found that rate very fast beginning, but began to slow down after 60 minutes all temperatures. experimental different analyzed common empirical models (the first-order, second-order models, Peleg model, power-law model). model provided best agreement with results terms statistical parameters (coefficient determination (R2) average relative error (ARE)) than other models. As increases, constant values initial also increased. constants used evaluate activation energy calculated anthocyanin 39.3 kJ/mol, which indication endothermic process. Obtained data predict petals.

Salvia miltiorrhiza is a medicinal crop belonging to the Lamiaceae family. It commonly used in China as an ingredient health-promoting teas that enhance immunity and prevent diseases. Although some Korean local farmers have reported S. grows vigorously high temperatures produces roots with deep red color, there no clear evidence or literature confirm this. Therefore, this study investigated growth external quality of response different day night temperature levels. Day treatments were designed into four levels: 20/15, 24/19, 28/23, 32/27°C, respectively. Among parameters related plant sizes, shoot height number showed highest values 32/27°C treatment, while other parameters, particularly width root length exhibited 28/23°C treatment. In contrast, majority including fresh weight dry weight, which are indicative biomass, lowest 20/15°C suggesting miltiorrhiza, species prefers relatively temperatures, thrives warmer conditions. Importantly, weights, likely be correlated market value same significance levels within range 24/19–32/27°C, but not low-temperature treatment 20/15°C. Thus, cultivation deemed feasible all ranges except for 20/15°C, optimal conditions falling 24/19–32/27°C. The CIELAB a* value, associated was comprehensive assessment Moreover, Royal Horticultural Society (RHS) color chart found indicate reddish brown-red readings 166B 174A. Additionally, obtained visual score Based on previous studies, considered content quantities tanshinones hydrophilic phenolic compounds, effective components orange-red color. it recommended cultivate at achieve rates, excellent quality, produce superior plants.

Vegetable quality parameters are established according to standards primarily based on visual characteristics. Although knowledge of biochemical changes in the secondary metabolism plants throughout development is essential guide decision-making about consumption, harvesting and processing, these determinations involve use reagents, specific equipment sophisticated techniques, making them slow costly. However, when non-destructive methods employed predict such determinations, a greater number samples can be tested with adequate precision. Therefore, aim this work was establish an association capable modeling between non-destructive-physical colorimetric aspects (predictive variables)-and destructive determinations-bioactive compounds antioxidant activity (variables predicted), quantified spectrophotometrically by HPLC 'Nanicão' bananas during ripening. It verified that some as flavonoids, regression equation using predictive indicated importance R2, which varied from 83.43 98.25%, showing highly efficient predictors.

Flower color, including color hues and spot patterns, is an extremely important trait in Asiatic hybrid lilies. Investigating flower variation across different cross combinations may help us select breeding parents efficiently. Thus, three hybridizations with compositions of anthocyanins carotenoids were performed, 65, 289 125 offspring obtained, respectively. For the progenies, quantified by CIELAB system, total number raised spots on tepals was counted. Then, a cluster analysis statistical used to explore inheritance patterns color. The results showed that orange high levels highly heritable progenies less segregated, showing orange, orange-red, yellow flowers. Parents red purple-red flowers differing produced extensive segregation, pink-white, pink, orange-pink, yellow, Meanwhile, contents resulted variable proportions groups. Additionally, for F1 generation, continuously separated, demonstrating distinct quantitative genetic characteristics. few or intermediate spots, plants both prominent negative positive heterosis. many covered almost full tepals, seedlings all exhibited spots.

Low temperatures commonly delay flowering in cut roses but enhance final flower quality, i.e., biomass, petal doubling, and size. However, this information remains unclear for spray-type roses. This study was conducted to understand the effect of suboptimal on quality rose ‘Pink Shine.’ The 6-month-old rooted cuttings were cultivated environmentally controlled growth chambers at four temperature levels: 25/20 °C (optimal temperature, OT) 20/20 °C, 20/15 15/15 (suboptimal temperatures, SOTs). As expected, SOTs significantly delayed time (11.2–25 days) enhanced with 51% 160% increases size respectively. did not statistically amplify numbers, as compared OT. Instead, increased stamen carpel numbers by 1.3 2 times, respectively, resulting a 1.4-fold increase total floral organ formation. Moreover, mRNA levels A-function genes (RhAP1** RhFUL**) C-function (RhSHP*) suppressed B-function gene (RhPI*), which is linked development plant reproductive structures (stamen carpel) Conclusively, more effective quantity accumulation than number petals similar carpels. These results suggest that differentiation during flowering, implying flowers may choose strategy through carpels over petals.
