Evaluating analytical methods with innovative metrics is essential to ensure the effectiveness of procedures. Various approaches have been proposed assess performance an method and its environmental consequences, as sustainable environment green chemistry ideology are high importance nowadays. Considering greenness evaluation developed procedures, Green Analytical Procedure Index (GAPI), one these metrics, utilizes five distinct colored pentagons evaluate footprint process at different stages. An additional tool named Complementary (ComplexGAPI) was introduced expand on GAPI by adding fields pertaining processes performed prior procedure itself. Nevertheless, existing ComplexGAPI lacks a comprehensive scoring system for individual methods, which would allow even easier comparison procedures using this tool. In response queries from users, study introduces refined ComplexMoGAPI, merging visual appeal precise total scores. The accompanying software streamlines application, facilitating quicker simpler evaluations. This available open source bit.ly/ComplexMoGAPI. We believe that, following success, ComplexMoGAPI will also gain attention eventually trust acceptance chemical community.

Abstract Microextraction methods such as hollow fibre‐liquid phase microextraction (HF‐LPME), dispersive liquid–liquid (DLLME), single‐drop (SDME) and ultrasound‐assisted emulsification (USAEME) have become prominent for analysing pharmaceuticals in wastewater. HF‐LPME, particularly the three‐phase system, excels extracting pollutants with high efficiency. SDME, especially direct immersion (DI) variant, is effective moderately polar non‐polar compounds. DLLME uses an immiscible dispersion extraction solvent to separate analytes, while USAEME enhances using ultrasonic waves. Recent research trends focus on incorporating ionic liquids deep eutectic solvents improve performance. These miniaturized techniques offer selectivity, efficient sample clean‐up significant enrichment factors, making them superior traditional like extraction. Future developments are expected further refine these even better performance pharmaceutical analysis. Complex‐Green Analytical Procedure Index (GAPI) also used assess environmentally friendliness of methodological approaches.
