Purpose The coronavirus disease 2019 outbreak has accelerated the pace of digital transformation, prompting a significant number businesses to transition swiftly online operations and remote sales, thus bringing an increase in information communication workload employees. potential negative psychological effects on individuals facing heightened job demands have been understudied. Thus, this study investigates transformation from perspective knowledge workers who contend with amplified flows their professional roles. Following demands-resources (JD-R) model, explores relationship between overload innovative behaviours workers, mediated by creative self-efficacy. Design/methodology/approach This utilises empirical research framework collect data sample 277 Kuwait. Structural equation modelling was employed examine confirm hypotheses model. Findings Our findings demonstrate that significantly enhances workers’ self-efficacy, thereby fostering behaviour. This research seeks to explore the connections among external innovation sources, integration of digital technologies, customer engagement, internal and their influence on perceived organizational agility market dynamics within emerging e-commerce.
