Purpose
The
coronavirus
disease
2019
outbreak
has
accelerated
the
pace
of
digital
transformation,
prompting
a
significant
number
businesses
to
transition
swiftly
online
operations
and
remote
sales,
thus
bringing
an
increase
in
information
communication
workload
employees.
potential
negative
psychological
effects
on
individuals
facing
heightened
job
demands
have
been
understudied.
Thus,
this
study
investigates
transformation
from
perspective
knowledge
workers
who
contend
with
amplified
flows
their
professional
roles.
Following
demands-resources
(JD-R)
model,
explores
relationship
between
overload
innovative
behaviours
workers,
mediated
by
creative
self-efficacy.
Design/methodology/approach
This
utilises
empirical
research
framework

data

Kuwait.
Structural
equation
modelling
was
employed

confirm
hypotheses
model.
Findings
Our
findings
demonstrate
that
significantly
enhances
workers’
self-efficacy,
thereby
