This study examined the principal-teacher gaps in perceiving school climate and their relationships with teacher job satisfaction through a lens of self-other agreement theory. The analyzed data from 2,163 teachers 160 U.S. schools retrieved international large dataset, 2018 OECD Teaching Learning International Survey (TALIS). Multilevel regression models were conducted to test relationship between perception divergence satisfaction. Results showed that principals rated more positively than larger negatively predicted even after controlling for characteristics. effect was significant across both public private schools.
