This paper examines the phenomenon of collaborative consumption among Generation Z in Ukraine, focusing on its significance for sustainable and factors driving popularity. In context increasing digitalization environmental challenges, authors analyze extent to which young Ukrainians engage sharing economy motivations behind their choices. Special attention is given unique characteristics who, unlike Western peers, are marked by a strong sense patriotism, greater social responsibility, desire economic stability—factors influenced country’s challenging geopolitical situation. The study was conducted using an online survey (CAWI) with sample 292 respondents 2024. results indicate that 54.8% show propensity (PCC), key motivators being convenience (90%), need connections (70%), awareness (68%). Individuals inclined toward resource tend exhibit openness, loyalty, innovativeness. However, lack significant differences broader behaviors suggests perceived primarily as practical solution rather than consciously pro-environmental strategy. These findings have important implications—companies should focus building trust platforms, offering flexible pricing models, emphasizing both financial savings benefits. Meanwhile, policymakers can support growth through regulations foster innovation educational campaigns promoting consumer behavior.
