Abstract Background Limited research has explored the preceding sequences of medical conditions leading to mild cognitive impairment (MCI), particularly patterns that may signal progression dementia or reversion normal cognition. Objectives Our study aims analyze common chronic an MCI diagnosis and examine differences between retention in towards cognition, using hypergraph clustering, a network analysis approach. Methods We categorize participants into two groups (i) M2P: stay progressed dementia, (ii) M2N: within 5 years after first onset MCI. Among 414 participants, 210 are males mean age is 80.8 years. performed obtain categories conditions. applied spectral clustering characterize with similar sequences. Results: Results identify validate generic key indicators (e.g., kidney disease), highlight sex-specific potential arthritis) for reversal, open new directions identifying disparities among men women. Conclusion categorized discovered unique suggesting women facilitate future research.
