Hyperuricemia is defined as a metabolic syndrome disease with markers characteristic of uric acid production that exceed normal limits. Normal levels range from 3.4-7.0 mg/dl in adult men and 2.4 -6.0 women. So if the limit, it will cause can not be fully metabolized hyperuricemia. About 70% excreted through kidneys. The kidneys are therefore organs have an important role maintaining homeostasis general, complex molecular mechanisms. Reabsorption occurs by URAT1 GLUT9 has human body, where reabsorbed then flowed back into blood so affects body. Preliminary data showed ethanol extract melinjo skin contains 3 main Flavonoid compounds higher Binding affinity value compared to allopurinol, effect overcoming levels.

Abstract The serendipitous discovery that inhibiting type 5 phosphodiesterase (PDE5) using sildenafil, a potent PDE5 inhibitor (PDE5i) initially developed for cardioprotection, introduced the possibility of orally managing erectile dysfunction (ED) led to an increase in research data, which are currently considered groundbreaking new discipline sexual medicine. Findings from number laboratories and clinics around world unanimously demonstrated following: (i) major cause ED is directly or indirectly related cardiovascular disease (CVD); (ii) CVDs share same risk factors, mainly lifestyle choices; (iii) first therapeutic approach both transform harmful lifestyles into virtuous lifestyles; (iv) PDE5is general, particularly very safe, if not protective, use CVD patients. However, has faced several challenges. Many patients some healthcare providers (HCPs) often misconception these drugs can CVD. Some might desire fulfill unmet need privacy linked stigma being treated be enticed by idea buying online, either because shame cheaper prices, without knowing risks associated with counterfeit drugs. aim this narrative revision current literature demonstrate orodispersible film sildenafil safe CV perspective; it discreet formulation respects privacy; virtually unique PDE5i too expensive produce outside correct channels, making impossible counterfeit.

Background: Few studies have evaluated the correlation between serum uric acid (SUA) levels and prevalence of female infertility in general population, effect magnesium intake on this has not been investigated. Methods: All participants aged 18– 45 years at baseline were enrolled from National Health Nutritional Examination Surveys (NHANES) 2013– 2018. The continuous variable SUA was divided into quartile (Q1: ≤ 3.7 mg/dL, Q2: 3.7– 4.4 Q3: 4.4– 5.1 Q4: ≥ mg/dL). Multivariable logistic regression used to estimate odds ratios (OR) 95% confidence intervals (CI). Dietary two groups based median number (low intake, < 243 mg/day; high mg/day). Results: A total 3185 included final analysis, 10.58% whom infertile. In full adjustment model, positively associated with (OR=1.13, CI: 1.01– 1.27). Compared lowest (Q1), highest (Q4) had an increased risk by 62% (OR=1.62, 1.1– 2.4). Moreover, we found interactive association adjusted models (interaction likelihood ratio test: P=0.029), implying that may ameliorate infertility. Conclusion: This study is first report dietary relationship Plain Language Summary: Infertility affects approximately 15% reproductive-aged couples worldwide. population. role through its effects We present existed, which implied casts a light how infertility, hinting importance supplementing various ways. There is limited concrete evidence connecting serum uric acid levels to female infertility. Therefore, this study aimed find out if are independently related infertility. From the National Health and Nutrition Examination Survey (NHANES) 2013-2020, a total sample of 5872 chosen participants between ages 18 49 were identified for cross-sectional study. The (mg/dL) each participant tested, reproductive health questionnaire was used evaluate subject's status. Both in analyses full subgroup, logistic regression models relationship two variables. A stratified multivariate model perform subgroup analysis based on levels.Infertility found 649 (11.1%) 5,872 adults study, with greater mean (4.7 mg/dL vs. 4.5 mg/dL). Serum associated infertility both initial adjusted models. According regression, odds be significantly higher rising (Q4 [≥ 5.2 mg/dL] Q1 [≤ 3.6 mg/dL]), ratio [aOR] = 1.59, p 0.002]. data suggests that there dose-response two.The results from nationally representative United States confirmed idea link increased Future research necessary explicate underlying mechanisms relationship.

Erectile dysfunction (ED) is a prevalent condition affecting male sexual health, characterized by the inability to achieve or maintain satisfactory erections. ED has multifactorial pathogenesis in which psychological, hormonal, neurologic, cardiovascular, and lifestyle factors all contribute progressive decline of erectile function. A critical underlying mechanism involves oxidative stress (OS), an imbalance between reactive oxygen species (ROS) production antioxidant defenses, disrupts endothelial function, reduces nitric oxide (NO) bioavailability, contributes vascular dysfunction. This narrative review explores interplay OS ED, focusing on roles ROS sources such as NADPH oxidase, xanthine uncoupled synthase, mitochondrial It examines impact chronic conditions like hypertension, diabetes mellitus, hyperlipidemia, hypogonadism, smoking obesity, exacerbate through systemic effects. Emerging research underscores potential therapies interventions restore redox balance, improve mitigate ED's progression. also highlights gaps understanding molecular pathways linking emphasizing need for further develop targeted therapeutic strategies.
