Abstract BC204 is a citrus‐based plant extract applied as biostimulant on variety of species in South Africa, China, and Australia. Although there are reports that it elicits physiological responses such an increase crop yield, abiotic biotic stress tolerance, fruit quality, no molecular data available to explain the specific mechanisms underlying these effects. In this study, RNA sequencing approach was adopted elucidate effects at level Arabidopsis thaliana Solanum lycopersicum . BC204, via either 0.01% (v/v) soil drench A. or 0.05% foliar spray S. , stimulated above‐ground biomass production whilst eliciting large change gene expression levels across several primary secondary biochemical pathways shoot tissues. Of entire transcriptomic profile examined, 8.212% genes were significantly differentially expressed between treated control groups 18.059% for Most notably, involved photosynthesis, aspects cell wall biogenesis, remodeling restructuring, carbohydrate metabolism, signaling, stress, metabolism upregulated, which could observed growth. Little correlation types pathway induction two model organisms. Genes related transcription regulation both strongly up‐ downregulated, suggests plays role inducing suppressing pathways. This novel study provides valuable information be used starting point targeted future research identifying new targets enhanced growth vigor.

Salinity, one of the major abiotic stresses in plants, significantly hampers germination, photosynthesis, biomass production, nutrient balance, and yield staple crops. To mitigate impact such stress without compromising quality, sustainable agronomic practices are required. Among these practices, seaweed extracts (SWEs) microbial biostimulants (PGRBs) have emerged as important categories plant (PBs). This research aimed at elucidating effects on growth, yield, status two Greek tomato landraces (‘Tomataki’ ‘Thessaloniki’) following treatments with Ascophyllum nodosum extract ‘Algastar’ PGPB ‘Nitrostim’ formulation. Plants were subjected to bi-weekly applications supplied solutions: 0.5 mM (control) 30 NaCl. The results revealed that different mode(s) action PBs impacted tolerance landraces, since ‘Tomataki’ was benefited only from SWE application while ‘Thessaloniki’ showed significant increase fruit numbers average weight both NaCl root zone. In conclusion, induced by salinity can be mitigated increasing through PBs, a tool for productivity enhancement, which aligns well strategy European Green Deal.

Plant biostimulants constitute a promising environmentally friendly alternative for increasing crop yield and tolerance to unfavorable conditions. Among various types of such formulations, botanical extracts are gaining more recognition as products supporting plant performance. Moreover, novel tools cold-plasma or low-pressure microwave plasma discharge being proposed techniques that might improve their efficacy. Elucidation the biostimulant's mode action requires complex research at molecular level. Transcriptional changes occurring after biostimulant spraying be investigated using RT-qPCR. However, this technique data normalization against stable endogenous controls. Here, we tested expression stability ten candidate genes in soybean plants exposed treatment. Selection best-performing reference was conducted four algorithms (geNorm, NormFinder, BestKeeper, ΔCt method). According obtained results, Bic-C2 (RNA-binding protein Bicaudal-C) CYP (cyclophilin type peptidyl-prolyl cis–trans isomerase) showed highest stability, while EF1B (elongation factor 1-beta) fluctuated most among set genes. Overall, recommend together with RT-qPCR biostimulation experiments. To our best knowledge, is first comprehensive study subjected The results will aid further plants, facilitating analyses performed on transcriptional

Spring Onion (Allium fistulosum), is a perennial plant and native of Eastern Asia. It rich in vitamins A K, iron, calcium, dietary fiber, which contribute to various health benefits, blood pressure cholesterol levels improve regulation. The study aims evaluate the response spring onion different concentration bio-stimulant. Around 160 plants were utilized as planting materials. Before planting, extra leaves cut around 3 inches roots trimmed off too. was conducted at School Agriculture, University Negros Occidental–Recoletos, Philippines using Complete Randomized Design (CRD). All data gathered statistically computed, subjected ANOVA STAR 2.0.1. experiment has four treatments: 0%, 20%, 30%, 40% BSS, respectively, replicated times. Results indicate that application 30% BSS significantly enhances height 32.02cm higher by 2.09cm for those with 0% 29.93 cm only, On number slips, greater slips 3.42 against 2.17 only.
