This study presents a comprehensive numerical analysis of dynamic rupture and fault-induced seismic risks in deep roadway excavation environments, focusing on near-fault conditions. A quantitative assessment was conducted for faults within 5 m the roadway, critical range evaluating heightened risks. Our results demonstrate that this proximity, fault slip moment increase significantly, with peak reaching 17.1 mm exceeding 3.9 × 1010 Nm. One key findings is amplification effect wave reflections along exposed surfaces, particularly areas near roof sidewall. The drill cuttings method is a commonly used for evaluating coal burst risk in mines. In view of the phenomenon ultra-large drilling cuttings quantity in rockburst coal seams, concept has been proposed. A plastic damage strain sof-tening mechanical analysis model for seam hole established.
