The C–C bond in non-activated cyclopropanes can be intramolecularly cleaved with an electrochemically generated amidyl radical forming oxazolines. Carbon materials have been employed in many applications flue gas purification due to their high specific surface area, good chemical inertness, and tunable chemistry. However, traditional methods such as adsorption or metal-loaded catalysis can be financially burdensome. The of carbon contains abundant vacancies, interstitial atoms, boundaries, other defects. The photocatalyzed cleavage of cycloketoximes is a promising approach for modifying their biological activity and designing prodrugs activated by light.
