The C–C bond in non-activated cyclopropanes can be intramolecularly cleaved with an electrochemically generated amidyl radical forming oxazolines. In the presence of TBABF4, this provides 1,3-oxyfluorination products. cleavage cyclopropane proceeds inversion configuration, suggesting intramolecular homolytic substitution (SHi) mechanism. performance TBABF4 as efficient fluoride source was explained by accumulation BF4– anion at anode surface, which a carbocation is formed oxidation C-centered radical.

Carbon materials have been employed in many applications flue gas purification due to their high specific surface area, good chemical inertness, and tunable chemistry. However, traditional methods such as adsorption or metal-loaded catalysis can be financially burdensome. The of carbon contains abundant vacancies, interstitial atoms, boundaries, other defects. These structural defects are often modified with saturated unsaturated functional groups containing heteroatoms oxygen, nitrogen, etc., thus possessing a certain acid–base property redox ability, which makes the themselves some catalytic activity. metal-free pollutants offers promising solution improve removal efficiency while reducing costs significantly. This review examines research on for pollutants, presenting recent advancements NOx, SO2, VOCs. It analyzes critical properties that govern efficiency, groups, defects, pore structure. The photocatalyzed cleavage of cycloketoximes is a promising approach for modifying their biological activity and designing prodrugs activated by light. Cycloketoximes containing cyclic ring structure that can hinder degradation modification in systems. Photocatalysis offers sustainable efficient method breaking down the using photocatalyst exposure to ultraviolet These reactions are initiated iminyl radicals, gain access distal-carbon through selective C–C cleavage.
