Abstract
In
the
late
19th
century,
progress
in
dye
chemistry
led
to
advances
industrial
organic
Germany.
Over
next
few
decades,
this
revealed
dyes
not
just
as
color
agents
but
promising
lead
compounds
for
drug
development.
Collaborations
between
chemists
and
medical
researchers
were
crucial
turning
these
unexpected
discoveries
into
structured
medicinal
efforts.
The
outcomes
included
major
classes
like
sulfa
antibiotics,
antifungal
azoles,
others,
resulting
a
legacy
where
served
only
biological
stains
tools
understanding
complex
natural
products
interactions.
Today,
impact
of
molecules
persists
clinical
therapies,
molecular
probing,
pharmacokinetic
tracing,
high‐throughput
screening.
This
review
underscores
historical
contributions
shaping
contemporary
pharmaceutical
sciences,
highlighting
role
indispensable
propelling
discovery
across
generations.

In
this
paper,
a
fluorescent
functionalized
polyacrylamide
material
(P)
was
prepared
by
free
radical
precipitation
polymerization
based
on
coumarin
derivative
(COMN)
and
acrylamide
(AM).
The
chemical
structure
composition
of
P
were
analyzed
1H
NMR,
UV–vis,
FT-IR
spectra.
results
fluorescence
spectra
common
cations
illustrate
that
can
realize
the
sensitive
detection
copper
(Cu2+)
within
30
s
in
pure
water
system,
quenching
rate
is
as
high
95.47%,
limit
7.2
nM.
It
worth
noting
above
system
rapidly
changed
from
green
to
orange
0.5
s.
addition,
anions
reveal
P/Cu2+
had
strong
interaction
with
cyanide
(CN–)
(0–180
μM),
39.12
cell
imaging
test
show
still
manifests
good
response
Cu2+
CN–
HeLa
cells,
which
provides
new
method
for
these
ions
vivo.
