There are various biomaterials, but none fulfills all requirements. Cellulose biopolymers have advanced biomedicine to satisfy high market demand and circumvent many ecological concerns. This review aims present an overview of cellulose knowledge technical biomedical applications such as antibacterial agents, antifouling, wound healing, drug delivery, tissue engineering, bone regeneration. It includes extensive bibliography recent research findings from fundamental applied investigations. Cellulose-based materials tailorable obtain suitable chemical, mechanical, physical properties required for applications. The chemical structure allows modifications simple conjugation with several materials, including nanoparticles, without tedious efforts. They render the cheap, biocompatible, biodegradable, easy shape process.

Rapid and early diagnosis of lethal coronavirus disease-19 (COVID-19) caused by the severe acute respiratory syndrome 2 (SARS-CoV-2) is an important issue considering global human health, economy, education, other activities. The advancement understanding chemistry/biochemistry structure SARS-CoV-2 virus has led to development low-cost, efficient, reliable methods for COVID-19 over “gold standard” real-time reverse transcription-polymerase chain reaction (RT-PCR) due its several limitations.
