Entrepreneurship plays a fundamental role in sustainable economic development, particularly the field of industrial engineering. This study analyzes determinants entrepreneurial intention among students from public and private universities Peru. A quantitative, non-experimental, cross-sectional methodology was employed, using structural equation modeling (SEM) to examine causal relationships between its key determinants: attitude, subjective aspects, perceived behavioral control, advantages, obstacles. The sample consisted 200 universities. results indicate that attitude towards entrepreneurship advantages are significant predictors both university types. However, control showed effect only students, suggesting institutional resources may influence self-efficacy. also identified differences perception obstacles two groups. findings underscore need for tailored educational interventions foster entrepreneurship, considering contexts. These contribute understanding how sustainability-driven education can enhance potential, aligning with Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) related quality (SDG 4), growth 8), innovation 9).
