In recent advancements, bimetal MXene has emerged as a promising electrocatalyst well catalytic supportive material due to its unique properties, including rich chemistry and potential metal-like conductivity. This study introduces novel bifunctional for overall water splitting, involving the synthesis of sea urchin-like CoNi2Se4 onto Ti2NbC2Tx using simple two-step solvothermal method. The developed CoNi2Se4@Ti2NbC2Tx is subjected physical surface topographical investigation X-ray diffraction, field-emission scanning electron microscopy, Raman spectroscopy, photoelectron spectroscopy techniques. synergistic effect prepared nanocomposite shows extraordinary kinetic metrics both HER OER processes. It low overpotential 76 mV at 10 mA cm–2 small Tafel slope 78.6 dec–1 an 203 with 102.2 OER. exhibits lower exchange current density onset that highlights enhanced performance. achieved 1.55 V maintained excellent electrocatalytic stability 24 h. reveals could be used cost-effective efficient catalyst, paving way application in clean hydrogen production through splitting. Owing better electrochemical behavior, also electrode supercapacitor applications, it specific capacitance about 2.05 F 2 cm–2.
