Heavy metal contamination is one of the current serious environmental and agricultural soil issues, it mainly due to anthropogenic activities. Vanadium (V) found in low concentrations a wide range plants widely distributed soils. The study aimed determine how pepper seedlings responded various V concentrations, as well detrimental effects on growth, root morphological traits, photosynthetic performance, reactive oxygen species (ROS), osmolytes production, antioxidant enzyme activities, uptake. Pepper (5 weeks old) were grown hydroponic culture with six levels (0, 10, 20, 30, 40, 50 mg L−1 NH4VO3). After two treatment, level (10, 20 L−1) enhanced growth status, conversely higher (30, reduced growth. leaf gas exchange elements, pigments molecules, characteristics are also affected by concentrations. Moreover, uptake was roots than shoot seedlings. Similarly, content, ROS enzymes activities significantly improved under stress. Concluding, lower concentration positively had effect physiological biochemical mechanisms.
