Abstract Fiber‐based multimodal sensors with electrical/optical signals are highly desired for next‐generation wearable electronics. Despite the remarkable progress in this area, achieving large‐scale knittable, washable, and self‐healing performance fiber‐based simultaneously remains a great challenge. Here, smart fiber capable of exhibiting piezoresistive/luminescent properties based on an H‐bonding connected multilayered core–shell nanostructure is developed. The core principle design involves constructing strong interfacial interactions between layers, which results sensor high sensitivity (gauge factor = 12383500), exceptional water resistance, robust (tensile strength 30.9 MPa, healing efficiency 72.9%). Unlike traditional where elaborate nanostructures prone to shedding during knitting, strategy enables excellent knittability be patterned fabric, improving both optical electrical sensitivities. This work anticipated make significant contribution further development electronic products visual human–computer interaction devices.

Abstract Flexible electro‐optical dual‐mode sensor fibers with capability of the perceiving and converting mechanical stimuli into digital‐visual signals show good prospects in smart human‐machine interaction interfaces. However, heavy mass, low stretchability, lack non‐contact sensing function seriously impede their practical application wearable electronics. To address these challenges, a stretchable self‐powered mechanoluminescent triboelectric nanogenerator fiber (MLTENGF) based on lightweight carbon nanotube is successfully constructed. Taking advantage mechanoluminescent‐triboelectric synergistic effect, well‐designed MLTENGF delivers an excellent enhancement electrical signal 200% evident optical whether land or underwater. More encouragingly, device possesses outstanding stability almost unchanged sensitivity after stretching for 200%. Furthermore, extraordinary detection distance up to 35 cm achieved MLTENGF. As demonstrations, MLTENGFs can be used home security monitoring, intelligent zither, traffic vehicle collision avoidance, underwater communication. Thus, this work accelerates development textile electronics

This study introduces a sustainable bio-based hydrogel crafted from boat-fruited Sterculia seed polysaccharide (BF), silk fiber (SF), calcium chloride (CaCl2), and borax. The inherent hydrophilic groups natural network structure of BF are conducive to the formation with high water content porous structure. SF serves dual role, providing structural support acting as an antifreezing agent. unique this is characterized by reversible dynamic cross-links, including hydrogen, borate ester, Ca2+/–COOH coordination bonds, which endow it excellent self-healing, mechanical, thermoreversible, freeze-resistant properties. successfully adheres various surfaces, skin, provides stable, repeatable electrical signals for monitoring diverse human movements (e.g., elbow wrist movement) subtle facial expressions. Moreover, exhibits stability reusability. Our thus convenient environmentally friendly strategy fabricating self-healing hydrogels promising applications in healthcare or human–computer interactions.

Abstract Prussian blue analogs (PBAs) are potential contestants for aqueous Mg‐ion batteries (AMIBs) on account of their high discharge voltage and three‐dimensional open frameworks. However, the low capacity arising from single reaction site severely restricts PBAs' practical applications in high‐energy‐density AMIBs. Here, an organic acid co‐coordination combined with etching method is reported to fabricate defect‐rich potassium‐free copper hexacyanoferrate structural water carbon nanotube fiber (D‐CuHCF@CNTF). Benefiting high‐valence‐state reactive sites, arrayed structure defect effect, well‐designed D‐CuHCF@CNTF exhibits extraordinary reversible 146.6 mAh g −1 two‐electron reaction, nearly close its theoretical capacity. It interesting unlock mechanism Fe 2+ /Fe 3+ Cu + /Cu redox couples via x‐ray photoelectron spectroscopy. Furthermore, density functional theory calculations reveal that D‐CuHCF participate charge transfer during Mg insertion/extraction process. As a proof‐of‐concept demonstration, rocking‐chair fiber‐shaped AMIBs was constructed coupling NaTi 2 (PO 4 ) 3 /CNTF anode, achieving energy impressive mechanical flexibility. This work provides new possibilities develop PBAs dual‐active sites as high‐capacity cathodes wearable image

Metal halide perovskite quantum dots (MHP QDs), as a kind of fluorescent material, have attracted much attention due to their excellent photoluminescence (PL) yield (QY), narrow full width at half maximum (FWHM), broad absorption, and tunable emission wavelength. However, the instability biological incompatibility MHP QDs greatly hinder application in field biomedicine. Hydrogels are three-dimensional polymer networks that widely used biomedicine because high transparency biocompatibility. This review not only introduces latest research progress improving mechanical optical properties hydrogels/MHP but also combines it with existing methods for enhancing stability hydrogels, aiming provide new ideas researchers material selection constructing QD-embedded hydrogels.
