The study focused to assess the dose-dependent hypo-testicular activity of hydro-ethanol seed extract Areca catechu (10, 20 and 40 mg/ 100 g body weight) in albino rats. For this purpose, weight, reproductive organo-somatic indices, as well motility, count, hypo-osmotic swelling acrosomal cap status sperm along with quantity testicular androgenic key enzyme activities, serum testosterone, oxidative stress sensors, seminal vesicular fructose (SVF), apoptosis linked gene expression histology tissue for spermatokinetics were covered here. All said doses revealed a significant (p<0.05) downward deviation spermiological profile, SVF levels, activities ∆5,3β 17β-HSD, seminiferous tubular diameter compared vehicle-treated control (VTC). In contrast VTC, superoxide dismutase peroxidase decreased elevation levels thio-barbituric acid reactive substances significantly testis pellet extract-treated groups. Testicular pro-apoptotic Bax was elevated anti-apoptotic Bcl-2 diminished after treatment VTC. Non-significant changes (p>0.05) noted hepatic alkaline phosphatase which non-toxic characteristics general. This interpreted that, mg showed drastic efficacy cum necrotic other though therapeutic dose that cross borderline fertile sensors from indicators is dose. Liquid chromatography-mass spectrometry analysis ten phyto-molecules belong flavonoid, alkaloid isoflavone groups mainly.

It biological marker for various conditions including oncological, cardiovascular, autoimmune diseases. Understanding can provide insights into broader issues, emphasizing the need multidisciplinary approach to healthcare. This review aimed analyze existing evidence on mechanisms effects herbal treatments fertility. underscores importance rigorous clinical trials quality control ensure safe application these remedies. narrative concentrated English-language literature encompassing research studies, case reports, systematic reviews, meta-analyses. Comprehensive searches were conducted across databases such PubMed, Scopus, Google Scholar, employing keywords "Male Fertility, Herbal Medicine, Reproductive Health, Plant Extracts, Complementary Therapies". To inclusion most recent findings, filters applied select studies published in English between 1995 December 2024. highlights that lifestyle choices, diet substance use, significantly impact fertility, while pollutants medications also pose risks. infertility treatments, vitro fertilization (IVF) hormonal therapies, often face challenges related cost, complexity, side effects. Many conventional therapies lack robust scientific support, which necessitates ongoing research. medicines, have long history cultures, are gaining popularity complementary options enhance Herbs maca ginseng shown potential improve sperm count, primarily due their antioxidant properties. However, efficacy safety requires further validation. Overall, offer promising benefits, they should be used cautiously conjunction with holistic addressing infertility. The ultimate goal empower couples informed choices regarding treatments.

The study focused on the spermicidal and anti-androgenic effects of aqueous-ethanolic (60:40) extract Caesalpinia pulcherrima leaves (AEECPL) in human rat samples from viewpoint its contraceptive efficacy through ex-vivo study. Six fertile adult males were selected randomly for semen collection. Parallelly sperm collected by epididymal washing six rats. Testes, epididymis, liver dissected Biological divided into control, 1, 2, 4 mg/ml AEECPL exposed groups. Relevant spermiological, steroidogenic enzymes, oxidative stress, metabolic toxicity sensors evaluated. All spermiological decreased significantly dose duration-dependent manners, number comet positive spermatozoa increased dose-dependent mode groups against control both rat. Activities Δ5,3β-hydroxysteroid dehydrogenase (HSD), 17β-HSD testis, kinetics superoxide dismutase testis epididymis along with elevation level thiobarbituric acid reactive substances glutamate oxaloacetate transaminase, pyruvate phosphatase, alkaline phosphatase above mentioned tissues showed no significant difference among groups, indicating non-toxic reproductive tissues. results presenting prominent preventing potentiality said optimal effect was noted at 2 dose. In-depth investigations are required in-vivo studies animal model to know genomic action execution male activity.
