Safety, a critical component of sustainable development, necessitates an integrated approach in which urban planning assumes central role. This study investigates the relationship between form and crime incidents public spaces within center city. was conducted city Łódź, located Poland. Through geolocated data, this research explores that, while not most severe, disrupt order impact overall quality life. fills gap existing literature by analyzing spatial variables such as vibrancy presence alcohol outlets, alongside other elements. The analysis incorporates variety variables, including land development indices, functional layout neighborhood, pedestrian infrastructure, space amenities, facilities. Urban vibrancy, represented density human activity, is also assessed relation to incidents. results indicate significant correlations certain features occurrence incidents, particularly amenities small businesses. While these findings suggest that design can influence rates, further panel time-series regression needed confirm dynamics. Aligned with 11th Sustainable Development Goal, provides insights could inform strategies, offering recommendations enhance both functionality safety centers. By understanding how elements contribute safety, policymakers develop more effective targeted strategies promote only aesthetics but well-being security residents.
