Abstract Thermal environment and land use status are the two controlling factors for determining ecological health of any urban area. The study aims to investigates stability relationship between surface temperature with normalized difference built-up index in Hyderabad City, India using eight Landsat 8 data summer season 2023. applies Pearson’s method correlation coefficient this relationship. results represent a consistent nature values as range mean (0.08 6.78 o C temperature) standard deviation (0.02 0.79 significantly low. Land very stable (correlation = > 0.63 images 0.50 images). Moreover, also built strong positive (average =0.64) temperature. affects vegetation life city influences index. Built-up leads an increase value regulates is useful environmental planning.

This study investigates urban warming in Rajshahi City, Bangladesh, by examining changes land surface temperature (LST) from 1990 to 2023 and exploring its relationship with key biophysical factors. LST was derived Landsat thermal imagery, both spatial temporal variations were analyzed using Geographic Information Systems (GIS). Key indices, including Normalized Difference Vegetation Index (NDVI), Built-up (NDBI), Water (NDWI), Moisture (NDMI), Bareness Soil (NDBSI), calculated corresponding satellite sensors, they evaluated the impact of LULC types (vegetation, water, soil, built-up areas) on variations. following Support Vector Machine classification technique. The Urban Thermal Field Variance (UTFVI) employed assess heat island (SUHI) effects, conditions, ecological stress, comfort zones. Spatial trend hotspot analyses change performed analysis Getis-Ord Gi* statistic, respectively. Linear regression examined between indices. Results show that winter mean increased 2.66 °C during 33-year period, maximum rising 4.29 °C. most significant occurred central-northern, central-western, south-eastern rise growing intensity SUHI effects are largely due growth, especially where green spaces water bodies have been replaced impervious surfaces. Hotspot identified clusters high-temperature zones, while UTFVI confirmed a marked expansion strong central areas. results showed notable links variables, higher values commonly linked greater density declines vegetation cover water. Overall, highlight need for better planning approaches such as increasing cover, permeable materials, adopting strategies can adapt climate impacts. presents framework analyzing dynamics be adapted other rapidly cities, aiding efforts promote sustainable development build resilience.

Community perception is essential for influencing the physical, social, and environmental growth of a region key to achieving high Quality Life (QOL). Tourism serves as common means introducing outsiders area where community lives. Embracing tourism in remote locations like small towns or rural areas can be difficult, success hinges on attitudes towards it. The community's engagement approval are dependent benefits such how improves their QOL both short. Therefore, this study aims explore local perceptions influences various aspects QOL. A survey 160 households Palangan Village was conducted collect primary data, using conceptual model with 16 indices evaluate findings indicate that generally has positive effects tourism, especially components. Civic generative well-being considered more significant than other Analysis data reveals differences across indices. highest average ratings were institutional participation (3.476), quality employment (3.456), individual capability (3.203), while lowest standard living (1.883), social solidarity (2.289), resource (2.725). For instance, index received an response rating 3.476. Additionally, dispersion coefficient highlighted notable variations perception, particularly satisfaction conditions (0.488) (0.488). Conversely, (0.360), cooperation (0.385), freedom choice had coefficients (0.386). Other showed moderate levels distribution perception. In conclusion, these results underscore significance development its affect They also importance strategic planning balanced ensure all benefit from expanding sector, leading sustainable harmonious community.
