BACKGROUND Vaccine hesitancy is a major challenge in the fight against coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) pandemic. Identifying sociodemographic factors associated with vaccine acceptance among Nigerians crucial for improving uptake. AIM To assess rate of COVID-19 and its related determinants Nigerians. METHODS An online cross-sectional survey (observational study) was conducted between February 2021 May 2021, using questionnaire hosted on SurveyMonkey. The invitation to take part poll sent out participants through social networking platforms. A logistic regression used determine which were constructs. RESULTS total 1800 persons responded survey, larger proportion whom males (53.9%) within age group 21-30 years (29.4%) earned an average income less than $500 per month (43.3%). Only 0.56% had high perceived risk infection, while only 1.11% dying from COVID-19. perception 51.1%, 63.9%. There no significant association assessed, particularly (χ ² = 3.049, P 0.550), sex 0.102, 0.749), 3.802, 0.875), religion 2.819, 0.420). Participants chronic conditions demonstrated higher compared general population. CONCLUSION Despite positive observed substantial study participants, more public health interventions are still needed enhance acceptability Nigeria.
