Plants constitute a rich source of diverse classes valuable phytochemicals (e.g., phenolic acids, flavonoids, carotenoids, alkaloids) with proven biological activity antioxidant, anti-inflammatory, antimicrobial, etc.). However, factors such as low stability, poor solubility and bioavailability limit their food, cosmetics pharmaceutical applications. In this regard, wide range delivery systems have been developed to increase the stability plant-derived bioactive compounds upon processing, storage or under gastrointestinal digestion conditions, enhance solubility, mask undesirable flavors well efficiently deliver them target tissues where they can exert promote human health. present review, latest advances regarding design innovative for pure plant compounds, extracts essential oils, in order overcome above-mentioned challenges, are presented. Moreover, broad spectrum applications along future trends critically discussed.

Glioblastoma multiforme (GBM) is the most common and fatal primary brain tumor, highly resistant to conventional radiation chemotherapy, not amenable effective surgical resection. The present review summarizes recent advances in our understanding of molecular mechanisms therapeutic resistance GBM already known drugs, characteristics glioblastoma cells, barriers that underlie drug resistance. We also discuss progress has been made development new targeted drugs for glioblastoma, as well delivery across blood–brain barrier (BBB) tumor (BBTB).

Virus-like particles (VLPs) are self-assembled viral protein complexes that mimic the native virus structure without being infectious. VLPs, similarly to wild type viruses, able efficiently target and activate dendritic cells (DCs) triggering B T cell immunities. Therefore, VLPs hold great promise for development of effective affordable vaccines in infectious diseases cancers. Nanotechnology is a fast-evolving field focused on fabricating nanoscale objects for industrial, cosmetic, and therapeutic applications. Virus-like particles (VLPs) are self-assembled nanoparticles whose intrinsic properties, such as heterogeneity, highly ordered structural organization exploited to prepare vaccines; imaging agents; construct nanobioreactors; cancer treatment approaches; or deliver drugs, genes, enzymes. However, depending upon the features of native virus from which they produced, performance VLPs can vary.
