Blockchain-based sensor networks offer promising solutions for secure and transparent data management in IoT ecosystems. However, efficient set membership proofs remain a critical challenge, particularly resource-constrained environments. This paper introduces novel OR-aggregation approach (where “OR” refers to proving that an element equals at least one member of without revealing which one) zero-knowledge proofs, tailored specifically blockchain-based networks. We provide comprehensive theoretical foundation, detailed protocol specification, rigorous security analysis. Our implementation incorporates optimization techniques devices strategies integration with prominent blockchain platforms. Extensive experimental evaluation demonstrates the superiority our over existing methods, large-scale deployments. Results show significant improvements proof size, generation time, verification efficiency. The proposed technique offers scalable privacy-preserving solution applications, addressing key limitations current approaches. work contributes advancement networks, paving way wider adoption technology

Agricultural innovations and their applications are increasingly recognized as crucial mechanisms for achieving the 2030 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). Actors in agricultural research development (AR4D) frequently use Innovation Systems (AIS) frameworks to comprehend ecosystems within which developed scaled. Given SDGs' emphasis on social outcomes, a reflection diversity, power, integration of theory into AIS AR4D tools is addressing nuances objectives. This critically evaluates through applying enhance outcomes. We offer practical application "Equity Principles Social Transformation (EPs)." These EPs designed guide organizations innovation scaling efforts that effectively achieve meaningful Through this approach, we aim enrich conceptual understanding equity provide strategies implementing these insights, thus empowering actors be more effective. start by selecting key theories analyze global power imbalances local exclusion tools. Using theories, examine three case studies uncover gaps approach dimensions. categorize thematic analysis formulate informed Equity each study reveals implications upstream downstream efforts. include insufficient dynamics agency recognition, lack comprehensive guidance critical components, oversight cultural institutional norms, exacerbation inequities, studies' limitations flexibility inclusion effectively. Additionally, there notable clear operational guidelines diverse contexts, including challenge translating levels action. Seven were developed: recognize dynamics; define goals, anti-goals, whom; build "horizontal" partnerships; acknowledge differences among users non-users; innovate curate appropriately; assess impact reflect; develop systems capacity. The connect with positive change. They help professionals consider evaluate innovation. an additional framework enables practitioners prioritize user needs from beginning, biases, objectives outlined SDGs.

Abstract Ongoing food system inequalities and pressures on planetary boundaries requires a paradigm shift among agricultural research for development (AR4D) actors to produce effective innovation sustainable environmental social outcomes. Building insights from Agricultural Innovation System literature recognizing the influence of personal systemic biases within AR4D, following recommendations address upstream challenges, interdisciplinary collaboration, emphasize outcome-driven scaling, adaptive project implementation, integrate critical considerations differentiation.

Decision support tools in agriculture help farmers make science-informed decisions rather than experience-dependent ones, which is increasingly important the context of climate change. However, these often fail to accommodate diverse users terms their contents, ease use, and dissemination strategies. The objectives this study are 1) understand gender roles potato production, 2) men women's knowledge perceptions pesticide application, 3) assess usability a handheld decision tool for late blight control from perspective Peru. A qualitative participatory assessment was carried out two communities Andes explore not only technical women farmers, but also roles, knowledge, pest disease management that determine household on use. findings confirmed face challenges using tool, based both socio-cultural aspects. Furthermore, play significant role production general, involvement likely contribute making appropriate use pesticides, thereby mitigating overall health environmental risks. concludes with recommendations modifying as well incorporating perspectives at design stage.
