Hydrophobic coatings basically decrease the wettability of surface due to presence nanostructures on it. In this research work, nanozirconia sol was prepared by sol-gel method and further hydrophobically modified using hexamethyldisilazane (HMDS). Prepared coated glass substrate then analysed for its wetting behaviour. Three samples with different HMDS ratios mixed Zirconia were coated, morphological parameters through atomic force microscopy field emission scanning electron techniques. The behaviour studying water contact angle free energy samples. Here transmittance measured metre at regular intervals 30 days. Functional group determination done Fourier transform infrared spectrometer that confirmed formation Zirconium nanoparticles. Maximum 101.2° observed showcased hydrophobic properties. coating successfully prepared, sample 2:1 ratio nanoparticles showed best nature amongst all in investigation.

This work is planned to comprehend the selection of desirable end milling parameters on magnesium AZ41. During machining, spindle speed (SS), feed rate (FR), and depth cut (DoC) were systematically varied assess their influence efficiency machining process. The surface characteristic current study was done by scanning electron microscope (SEM) roughens tester. These SEM images explain texture together with morphology composition in association, intermetallic phase found presence zinc aluminum percentage more than Mg. It ensures that, content improves quality. Selecting optimal requires balancing cost minimization quality maximization, posing a multiple criteria decision-making challenge. addresses stated issue employing evaluation based distance from average solution (EDAS) method. Further, response methodology (RSM) applied build empirical model through Taguchi design. proposed higher correlation coefficient 0.9806, 0.9961, 0.9629 for time, roughness, material removal rate, respectively. Following successful development model, optimization performed using desirability function approach (DFA), which allowed us balance objectives achieve desired outcomes. Optimization studies reveal varying roughness levels, controlled shearing action, FR, DoC influencing results. optimized input concerning multiobjective SS 3443.7 rpm FR 500 m/min, 0.65 mm. results EDAS DFA concurrently.
