The COVID-19 outbreak has put enormous pressure on the scientific community to detect infection rapidly, identify status of disease severity, and provide an immediate vaccine/drug for treatment. Relying immunoassay a real-time reverse transcription polymerase chain reaction (rRT-PCR) led many false-negative false-positive reports. Therefore, detecting biomarkers is alternative reliable approach determining infection, its progression. Recent advances in liquid chromatography mass spectrometry (LC-MS/MS) enable protein even at low concentrations, thus facilitating clinicians monitor treatment hospitals. This review highlights role LC-MS/MS identifying discusses clinically significant such as Serum amyloid A, Interleukin-6, C-Reactive Protein, Lactate dehydrogenase, D-dimer, cardiac troponin, ferritin, Alanine transaminase, Aspartate gelsolin galectin-3-binding COVID-19, their analysis by early stage.Clinical doctors understand, stratify, treat patients according severity. SARS-CoV-2 infection produces a wide range of symptoms. Some the structural changes caused by virus in nervous system are found medial temporal lobe, and several neuropsychological sequelae COVID-19 related to function hippocampus. The main objective systematic review is update further analyze existing evidence hippocampal cortices' functional alterations due infection. Both clinical preclinical studies that used different methodologies explore effects this disease at stages grades severity were considered, besides exploring cognitive emotional symptomatology. A total 24 identified searching SCOPUS, Web Of Science (WOS), PubMed, PsycInfo databases up October 3rd, 2022. Thirteen performed human samples, 9 included animal models, 3 post-mortem, 1 both post-mortem samples. Alterations hippocampus detected acute stage after months Clinical revealed connectivity metabolism. Memory correlated with altered metabolic profiles or grey matter volumes. Hippocampal postmortem observed neurogenesis, dendrites, immune response, high apoptosis neuroinflammation. Preclinical reported viral load Olfactory dysfunction was associated brain functionality. Several complaints, alterations, depressive anxious

COVID-19 placed teams of professionals in a hostile and unfamiliar environment where the lack knowledge its pathology led to adaptation programs used so far for other conditions try address immediate sequelae infection. That is why aim this study was assess effects multicomponent exercise program (MEP) improving cardio-respiratory performance, health status, disability due dyspnea, aerobic capacity endurance, COVID-19. Thirty-nine patients referred from different hospital services were included study. An intervention seven weeks with sessions twice week carried out, underwent intervallic training followed by strengthening exercises individualized respiratory physiotherapy exercises. The results show significant improvement endurance after intervention; an increase status reduction dyspnea at 2-year follow-up. In addition, none had any adverse either pre-post treatment or Individualized monitored MEP survivors showed positive evaluation follow up, post-COVID-19 patients. This highlights importance professional background rehabilitation adapting unknown clinical environment.

Abstract The unprecedented and overwhelming SARS-CoV-2 virus COVID-19 disease significantly challenged our way of life, society the economy. Many questions emerge, a critical one being how to quantify challenges, realities, intervention effect influence pandemic. With massive effort that has been in relation modeling COVID-19, what issues have modeled? What well epidemiology, AI, data science, machine learning, deep mathematics social science characterized epidemic? are gaps opportunities quantifying pandemic? Such involve wide body knowledge literature, which unclear but important for present future health crisis quantification. Here, we provide comprehensive review tasks, methods, progress, processes, data, mitigation impact. research landscape modeling, further categorize, summarize, compare discuss related methods progress made epidemic transmission processes dynamics, case identification tracing, infection diagnosis medical treatments, non-pharmaceutical interventions their effects, drug vaccine development, psychological, economic impact, misinformation, etc. shows such as mathematical statistical models, domain-driven by epidemiological compartmental biomedical analysis, AI particular shallow simulation hybrid addressed exist directions can be followed better future.

Long coronavirus disease-19 (COVID-19) is a newly discovered syndrome characterized by multiple organ manifestations that persist for weeks to months, following the recovery from acute disease. Occasionally, neurological and cardiovascular side effects mimicking long COVID-19 have been reported in recipients of vaccines. Hypothetically, clinical similarity could be due shared pathogenic role severe respiratory coronavirus-2 (SARS-CoV-2) spike (S) protein produced virus or used immunization. The S can bind neuropilin (NRP)-1, which normally functions as coreceptor vascular endothelial growth factor (VEGF)-A. By antagonizing docking VEGF-A NRP-1, disrupt physiological pathways involved angiogenesis nociception. One consequence increase unbound forms other receptors. SARS-CoV-2-infected individuals may exhibit increased plasma levels during both illness convalescence, responsible diffuse microvascular damage. A few studies suggest serum also potential biomarker COVID-19, whereas evidence vaccines lacking merits further investigation.
